I love this robe in the petite size. It is not just the over all length that is good, but the length from shoulder to waist fits without bulging out when wrapped and tied. As others have said, the material is beautiful and soft--warm without being "heavy." The robe is not skimpy. I can wrap up and not have the bottom open up. And never before have I gotten so many compliments on a robe.

I wanted a robe that was light but warm. I have heavier terry cloth robes but they get too warm. This robe it perfect. It is long so I can keep my legs warm. I love love love this robe.

It took me a few times wearing the robe to be comfortable. It shed a lot when washed first time. For a shortie, it is long, to the foot and the arms are too long. However, it is soooo soft and warm without being a heavy robe. I wish some company in the world could figure out how to make a robe belt that does not fold all over; that is so irritating! What ever happened to stiffening fabrics that are used for belts? The customer service rep was wonderful. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. Delivery timing was perfect!

This is the best flannel robe on the market! Definitely wash and dry it at least twice before wearing - the fabric peels a bit - but it will last a long time. This is my "Go To" robe and excellent for a gift...after all who wouldn't want a time honored classic robe?

I had my eye on a flannel robe like this in the blue-green-white plaid and when it went on sale at LLBean with free shipping, I tried to order it in what I thought was my size, an L, though I was considering an XL. Suddenly my size disappeared from the website so I phoned Customer Service to see how I could find one and check whether an XL would be better. The woman was incredibly helpful, not only did she locate one for me in a store and had it shipped to me for free from there - but she also wondered if I was indeed ordering the right size, since the robes run very large. She assured me an M would be plenty big and she was right - it's almost too large, but I love it and am keeping it, as I suspect an S would be too small. The robe is wonderfully long, reaches to my ankles and is the most comfortable thing you can put on. It's also very flattering.

My 20+ daughter loves the robe--warmth w/o bulk, fashionable enough w/o all the fluff and overkill of the big women's robes you commonly see. Fits well (sometimes my daughter takes extra small, but only sometimes--if that helps you gauge size). Nicely cut for arms and length. Good purchase. Thanks for noting if this helped--I hope so.

I'm 5 feet, 145 pounds. I ordered this in Medium Petite. It still is almost too big, with the hemline coming down to my ankles. I'm kind of swimming in it. But, it's very comfy and warm, the fabric is not too thin, and the colors true to the image here. I like that it has two pockets. Very pleased.

We bought this for our daugher to wear in the hospital after her baby is born. She loves it. The fabric is so soft and strong at the same time. She hope to get a lot of wear out of it.

This is by far my favorite robe I have ever purchased. It feels like a "snuggy" blanket. The flannel is very soft and warm. Overall, it's a high quality robe.

I probably could have ordered a Medium if I wanted to be more "stylish," but the Large fits loosely and comfortably. It is deceptively warm for the weight and is perfect for sitting and reading before bed in the evening. I had mine monogrammed and it looks and feels so good.

I love the feel of this robe - very soft, and it's lightweight. It is generously cut to wrap around me without gaping open when I move or sit. The sleeves run long. I ordered a Medium also but didn't even try it on since the Small was plenty big enough for me. I washed it before wearing but it still shed a lot of small fibers on my bathroom counter and floor (and probably everywhere else but not so visibly), so I ran it through the dryer on air only, which helped only a little. It's now been washed a second time and left a lot of lint in the dryer filter again. I haven't worn it since then because of cold weather - wearing my zip-up LLBean fleece robe instead, which I also love and have had for several years.

I wore my last tartan robe out. So happy to have again. This is the softest flannel you'll find anywhere. I love it long and loose, so the fit is perfect. Good value, came fast, appropriately packaged. I can heartily recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable robe!

I especially like the detail of ties on the inside to keep the robe from flopping open

It's not quite as thick as I expected, but that turned out to be a blessing. I love this robe.

Robe is exactly as described and I love it! I did not want a lined robe as they are too warm. This unlined robe is cozy and comfortable.

This robe is awesome. It is just the right weight and length. It's soft and warm. It washes and dries without any shrinkage. I love that the collar does not get in the way as I am blow drying my hair. You can tie it closed on the inside. Fits perfectly. It is super cute. I would love to have one of each! I would buy this robe again and again. Best robe ever!!

Love this one! This is thin, light but soft and warm enough for me in Colorado. I have different style thick and heavy robe from LLbean but I love this style too so I wish LLbean makes another exactly same robe but with a little bit thicker version then I would purchase it right away so I can have light and heavy version both.

I was replacing an old robe I'd had from LLBean that was no longer available. Their on-line chat recommended this one. I LOVE it! However, I will warn buyers to keep an eye on their lint filter each time they dry it. I noticed fine colored "dust" in my bathroom each day & determined it was from the robe. When I washed it, the dryer lint trap was so full of lint after just about 10 minutes that I teased my husband that I could make another robe. I've had the robe just around a month and have washed it 3 times already to try get less shedding. Each time, I clean the lint trap several times during each drying cycle. Thought I should warn others so they don't end up with a fire. That being said, I do LOVE this robe & will order another one soon to keep at our summer place.

Wow. This robe is so soft and cozy warm and fits me so well that I just purchased a second one in a different color. Other robes I have are either too short in length or too heavy for comfort, but this one is perfect. I prefer casual fitting clothing and was considering ordering an extra large, but the large in this robe is just right. Highly recommend!
