The fabric seems very good, but the sizing on the petite small was more like a regular large. It hung down below ankles, sleeves were over the hands, and it was well over 2 ft wide. Maybe the larger sizes are manufactured to more reasonable specs, but this was disappointing.

Nightgown is way too big in that it has twice the fabric in the body than necessary. Definitely not a medium size. Otherwise., it is very nice.

A nice soft, well-made nightgown that I am returning with the suggestion that LL Bean consider offering in a fabric that does not require matching plaids. This nightgown is a dollar short of $90.... At that price, I expect perfection.

This red and black buffalo plaid needs a brilliant red. The colors are dark and dull. I wish it were bright and brilliant! But it was dark and dull, and not worth the cost.

Buy one every year but this will be my last. So lightweight I can wear it on a cool summer evening. Quality has gone down the past couple years. Pills after washing.

Material is flimsy and thin; I still have 3 of this style I orderd 10 years ago. They are still better quality than the one I just purchased.

In previous years a similar nightgown to this which was offered by LL Bean had a thicker flannel and 12 pin tucks on each side of the button placket. Stylishly made, flattering and practical. The current nightgown has 4-5 pin tucks on each side; not really pintucks, but pleats. Fabric is less thick. Missing the old version. Requested this as a holiday gift because my previous gown was lovingly worn out after years of warm sleeping. Not happy with the changes.

These nightgowns are so pretty I ordered a few for myself and one for a gift. I was disappointed when after only 2-3 washes the fabric was covered in pills. I grew up in New England when LLBean was know for its high quality.

Good fabric but way too much of it for a nightgown

I have purchase a lot of LLBean pintuck flannel gowns over the years and was happy to see it back . I purchased this gown and was thrilled at the softness of the flannel........HOWEVER, after just one or two normal washings the flannel lost it's initial softness and feels like my older gowns which have seen years of laundering. AND the price of these nightgowns has doubled. Very disappointing.

This pretty, large, comfy, well made nightie is very thin for a winter flannel. Light shows easily through the fabric. It's good for fall, but you need to add a fleece if your place is 65 at night. This is NOT the flannel nightie of yore!!

It is soft and warm, but it sheds and shrinks with every wash. The length shrinks in arms and hem but stays quite wide throughout the middle.

Fabric is thin and not what I expected for a flannel nightgown. I wear it , and I like it, but disappointed just the same.

Really is long and roomy. Too much so for me so I returned it. I was looking for more of a nightshirt and this is not it. The fabric is super soft and if it had been shorter it would be a keeper.

Flannel is soft and comfortable but not the quality of fabric for the price. Will keep them but wish the fabric was like that of old!

Not like the former flannel nightgowns I don't care for the high collar which feels stiff even if the top buttons are unbuttoned - and pokes at my chin. And I don't care to have pockets tho they are better than expected. The pockets are mostly extra material as does the high stiff neck - more like a lounging robe than a nightgown. The fabric seems lighter than the last version. I'm not sure why the old nightgown said to wash in cold water and this says to wash in warm water? Both are 100% cotton.

The two nightgowns were extremely long. I had to have five inches taken off of each one. It would be helpful if there were a size short. I would not even care if it only came in one color as you might not have a big request for such. Other than that the material was smooth and soft. And the look was just elegantly simple. I love a final nightgown.

I almost love this nightgown! The cut/fit is perfect- loose and flowy with fantastic pockets. Unfortunately, the flannel pills horribly and quickly becomes too scratchy to be comfortable- I now can't bear to wear it without a long sleeved tshirt underneath. Please make this in a smooth woven cotton fabric that won't pill!!

I really like this nightgown, but prepare yourself for lint everywhere. I have washed it probably 10 times this week, and there is still lint everywhere.

Not the quality that used to be LL Bean. The flannel is thinner and I continue to pick up the fluff as it sheds. I weigh under 120 lbs and this medium size gives very little slack. I cannot button the top because it would need another 1/2".

Neck line is too high and needs to be a softer more casual look.

Sized up to allow for possible shrinkage. After one gentle washing, the gown fit perfectly, but the fabric lost its softness and was no longer a comfy gown. Definitely not worth the price paid, would not order another.
