I had been looking for a new flannel nightgown and I am so glad I remembered LL. Bean always had them in the past! The flannel is very soft and thick. And the sewing was very well done. I have washed and dried my nightgown several times now and it has only shrunk a tiny bit and keeps getting softer! I bought a 1X and it fits just right! I will purchase this flannel nightgown again!

L.L .Bean finally has a true flannel nightgown that is attractive rather than a shapeless sack. This one comes in lovely plaids (I have the black watch plaid) and is soft and warm. I do have to roll the cuffs up, and the hem hits the floor, but otherwise I love it. Keep it up, L L. Bean!

A perfect, very comfortable flannel nightgown. The material is very soft and the perfect weight for a flannel gown, not too heavy, not too light. It is roomy and long enough that it covers my legs almost to ankles. Has wonderful pockets. The neck is comfortable. The sleeves are perfect. It's hard to find a nice flannel nightgown like this. I definitely recommend it.

Washed before wearing as I thought it would be too long, but it's perfect! Having pockets makes it easy to keep wearing in the morning: a place for my glasses!. Soft and cozy. Thanks

Perfect, warm, well made nightgown to get me through the cold fall nights until we start using wood heat. This hits at the ankles on me and is roomy, which is a nice surprise at my size. The pleating on the front is a nice detail. The weight of the fabric is what I would expect for a flannel nightgown. The flannel is extremely soft!

I have 4 other LL Bean flannel nightgowns, but this is my favourite It is very soft, has pockets and feels so luxurious The others are great too But this one is a soft and thick flannel It arrived today, washed it and am now in Heaven

I love this nightgown! It is just perfect and I'm really picky! The flannel is soft, warm and cozy but not hot, and was exactly what I wanted. I love the shape and cut...it is roomy but the pleating around the chest and upper back make it feel feminine. The pockets are great for carrying my cellphone (just being honest) and the buttons go low enough that I can wear it at night and still easily nurse my baby. I love the length too!

I absolutely LOVE the feel of this gown. It's really the most comfortable gown I've ever had. I usually wear an XL but, I bought a 3X because I LOVE my gowns big. And it is surprisingly a bit small. I can feel it tighten up around my shoulders when I raise my arms which kinda surprised me as I bought it 2 sizes larger than I really wear. I'm so Glad I didn't get an XL now. Love the length and the pockets are absolutely wonderful! But, I wished I had the option to purchase this gown in a 4x next time..... I don't like to be confined by clothing at all and the slight tug in the shoulders is a little disappointing for me! But, it's not enough to keep me from purchasing another one.

This is so pretty , so soft , and so comfortable. At the end of the day , I enjoy putting a gown this cozy on to relax in. I bought a second gown to enjoy , but I live in Phoenix so I have to wait for it to cool down. Highly recommend this purchase.

This is an amazing additional to my life. I want to wear it always and I'm bummed that it's summer out. I ordered a medium and it's big but fortunately not too long. What I prefer for a night gown. Definitely what I recommend!

I always buy these for winter. I got a really large one since I like to be able to move around in bed at night and love them extra roomy. I wish these gowns came knee length which would make them perfect for me, but I can hem it easily. It's super soft made of 100 percent cotton and really warm for those extra cold nights when the temperature drops. I can also wear these outside to take the dog out on a cold winter morning and not freeze and since they are so nice, no one complains if they catch a glimpse of me in the early morning in my nightgown. Before I had this one, I had the exact same style except for the coloring which lasted me over three years. So once one of these wear out, I have to go get another one so they must be good!

If you're reading this review, stop dawdling and start buying. You need this gown! It's wonderfully oversized in exactly the way you want a perfect gown to be. It's so soft. Get two or three they're that good. Sharp enough to wear out for casual errands as a fall maxi. Next month I'm buying one for my best friend.

I love the feel of the flannel in this nightgown. It's about medium weight, and so soft that it's actually cuddleable. It's also adaptable to any season. I bought the nightgown in January and I'm still wearing it comfortably in June. I also like the Royal Stewart colors, which are well-defined without being garish and which have held up well through several washings. This is just plain a comfy, attractive, and luxurious feeling nightgown. I'll probably order another one soon.

I bought two of these nightgowns 20 years ago and they just wore out.. I had to replace them and these feel just as wonderful and I believe will last just as long. Quality workmanship and extreme comfort!

Very pleased. Was not sure about the red plaid color for a night gown. Usually order a pastel but this was the only color left in my size. So pleased I did, the color is beautiful and brightens my spirit. The fabric is so warm and soft against my skin without being heavy. Love the side pockets. Length is perfect for me. Launders without fading. Sometimes hang it to dry and it is still soft and not stiff. Would order this gown again with pleasure.

I have been buying this style flannel from LLB for at least 20 years. They last forever. Each time I purchase one (I now have 4) the material is softer, and warmer. LLB keeps up with improvements material and style.
