Just what I was hoping for! The fit is just right, and I can button the neck up to wherever is comfortable for me. The flannel is wonderfully soft and warm and a perfect weight! I'm considering ordering another one!

This is my second one to buy, so comfy & excellent quality flannel. They wash & wear very well!

This is a truly great flannel nightgown. It buttons all the way up, so your upper chest doesn't get cold on chilly nights, and it has pockets. (I feel like I should shout that: POCKETS.) My only complain about it is, I'm 5'3" and was actually kind of psyched that it wasn't available in my usual size (Petite Small) when I ordered because I wanted it longer. I ordered the Misses X-Small, and it was perfect when it arrived -- right down to the ground. But it shrank in the wash and is now a good 3-4" shorter! So anyway, I'd order up a size maybe if you want it longer. And I think LL Bean should make it a few inches longer next year so that it can be as toasty as possible!

Like other flannel nightgowns it took about 4-6 washings before it kept filling up the lint trap. The flannel was a little bit thicker than other brands I have had. I love the pockets. It's warm and seems to wear well.

Absolutely love this nightgown. It's warm and cozy. The flannel fabric is soft and very good quality.

My daughter loves this nightgown. She says it is very soft and warm, making it perfect to sleep in during chilly Pacific Northwest weather.

A little large, but very comfortable.I bought a large petite, and the length is just right.

I always wanted a granny gown, so i ordered the best (on sale) I am tall so the length was great for me, if your short think petite for length. The material is on the thick side and very soft no drafts with this on. I love it. very snug and warm. I also have longer arms than average and the sleeves fit perfect.If your tall and long this is the gown for you. 5 stars....... My height is really 5 81/2 the above would not take the 1/2 so i put 5 9 insetead.

Cozy and oh-so-soft all over. Love the pockets! I wanted a flannel nightgown with a high collar because my husband has the windows behind the bed open all night, no matter how cold it is. I am never cold in this. It's extra roomy and I wondered if I would get all tangled up in it, but not at all - the extra material prevents it from getting twisted around my legs. The tartan pattern is beautiful - I now have 2 of these in different colors.

Lovely warm flannel. Full skirted so it allows for free movement.

I have 2 of the nightgowns and love them so much I was hoping to purchase a third on sale. But no luck, my size has sold out. Hope they will be restocked for next season. They are roomy, cozy, and so comfortable. The cotton fabric is just right, as it is warm, but never too warm. Our 2 dogs, a Great Dane and a Corgi love to cuddle with me when I get up in te mornings and am wearing my flannel gowns!

I love these flannel nightgowns. I ordered 2 in a larger size than i usually wear because i wasn't sure about the shrinkage, I wanted them big.They are warm so i could put my blanket back on the blanket rack & got it off of the arm of my couch.Very soft . Wanted to get 2 more but i don't see them anymore. Will look back in July to get the blue one i wanted to get [but they were out was told till about July.] I'll be getting 2 more for next winter,may go with a size smaller . LOVE THESE!!

I had two favorite L.L. Bean nightgowns that I have been wearing for almost 15 years and really needed to be replaced. I was very concerned that the new nightgown would not be as wonderful. The nightgown is terrific, not only is it as good as the last, but it even has pockets. I am delighted with my purchase. In fact I was so delighted that I bought one more.

California is having as unusual cold spell, and this granny warm gown is wonderful for the cold nights and cold mornings. It provides warmth and fashion. Also, it is made of the softest flannel.

Would have bought another but they sold out soooooo fast. Yes they were oversized hence I bought a large instead of xl. Soft. Comfy. Washes well.

This material is very soft. I washed the nighty and hung it on a hanger to dry, which I do with a lot of my things in the winter. It was still very soft, even though it hadn't been tumbled in the drier. No shrinkage either. I did wash it and rinse it in cold water, because that's the way I wash everything. It reaches to my ankles, and the sleeves come down onto my hands just a bit. My arms are a bit long, and sometimes I find the sleeves are too short for me on long-sleeved items I buy. These are perfect. Also, there is enough material that when I get in bed and lay on my side, kind of curled up, I can pull the nighty down over my feet and have them covered too. Very cozy! The color I ordered, Stewart Victoria, is true to the online picture. I had trouble buttoning and unbuttoning the top button at the neck, until I noticed the buttonhole was horizontal, rather then vertical like the rest of the buttonholes. Now I can button and unbutton it with no trouble. The cuffs on the sleeves are large enough that I don't have to unbutton the cuffs to get the nighty on and off. A plus for lazy me. I would highly recommend this nighty!

very comfortable and good quality. good to wear especially if you have alot of people living in your house.

Very warm cuddly. Flannel is a nice quality and washed well. It's very long, so if you're shorter than me, it might be too long. I'm 5' 4 1/2" and it comes almost to the floor. Otherwise, I would recommend this product.

I would LIVE in this nightgown if I could get away with it! I have one in red and one in the green. When I visited the flagship store in Oct. while traveling I didn't see this gown (I already had the red one and I really wanted the green) I was really bummed I couldn't get another one. I would have been gotten another one in the same color... Several weeks later after returning home, I got an e-mail ad from LL Bean and there was the gown I wanted and it was on SALE! Even better! My favorite thing about this gown (besides how soft and comfortable it is) are the invisible side pockets! If this gown came in five more colors, I'd buy those too! The gown was long when I first tried it on, but after the first wash it was perfect (it didn't seem to get smaller, just a bit shorter). You won't regret this purchase and even if you have to return it for some reason, LL Bean has the best customer service anywhere!

I purchased this for my fiance - who says she was born too late. The nightgown is well made and she says, very comfortable. It is a great "laying on the couch reading a book" nightgown. If that is what you are looking for, I would highly recommend it.

The product is soft and cozy and really warm on the cold winter nights. I haven't needed extra blanket at night!

I purchased 2 nightgowns, one dark green plaid & the other, more of a white background plaid. The seams are small stitched & tight. Nice button cuffs (a little wide for me because I have small wrists.) The flannel is thick & washes nicely. The most frequently I wash them is once weekly. I've had these around 3 months & have no complaints, only praise. Next, I'm going to get some flannel pajamas for the bottoms. And I can use the top for a sort of robe when getting out of bed in winter. My house doesn't get warmer than 60F! I was originally introduced to LLBean's nightgowns through a purchase at a thrift store. Very sturdily made & held up like new, even though purchased used. That led me to buy more nightgowns, directly from this site! These will last such a long time! The photo shows that sleeves are a little long, but fine. I don't have short arms. I'm just not a tall person. This will probably be perfect for a tall person.

I size up to get sleeves that are long enough for my long arms. Love the full length sleeves. It's a rare nightgown that doesn't have 3/4 length sleeves. I appreciate the pockets. Wears forever. Warm, but great weight for fall through spring and the occasional cool summer northern night.
