This is a nice warm shirt that fits true to size. I'm a little disappointed with the fabric. While the plaid is a nice pattern I was expecting more of a flannel feel vs cotton. Also I think the style would be greatly improved if the front pockets were removed. Seriously how many women use front pockets?
I liked the shirt enough to keep it but would not purchase another unless some changes were made.

The sleeves hit me at the knuckles so they are too long in a petite XL (my normal size).
As for the shirt itself, I do like it and it otherwise fits.
The plaids don't match but you can't really tell in the color Black Watch.
If you don't care about the plaids matching up then it might work well for you if you have long arms.
Being I do not have long arms I have no choice but to return this.

I was disappointed in the quality of the fabric. It is no where near as plush as shirts I purchased previously. The color was not as vibrant as illustrated.

I normally buy men's fleece lined flannel because they have pockets. The newer women's do too and I had a coupon. The color is beautiful but the flannel is very thin, especially in the collar and snap front area. If I hadn't already washed it I would return it. It's pretty, and was shipped promptly and correctly, thus 2 stars. Definitely not worth the price even with a coupon.

Outer fabric is not flannel. Plaid pattern not matched at the seams. Pockets are good.

Comparing this to the original fleece-lined flannel shirt I bought years ago (which was perfect), I was not pleased with this shirt. I bought a size small and the shirt was very large on me.I do not like the snaps. You have to press hard to snap and unsnap this. The sleeves were several inches too long (I don't know anyone who has arms this long). The sleeves would have to be rolled up. The shape of the shirt is very boxy; almost like a square and it is also too short. Preparing to return this, I mentioned this to the customer service rep and he said it is to be worn as a jacket. If I wanted a jacket I would have bought one. I would not recommend this shirt.

Flannel was thin, flimsy, and seemed like it would tear after a just few washings. Even with the fleece, I don't think it would have kept me warm. It's not the LL Bean quality I've come to expect. I returned it soon after I tried it on.

It breaks my heart to write this because I love the brand and have always thought the quality was worth the price. I had previously gotten a fleece lined flannel in mauve and loved it, so I decided to get another in plum because it's such a beautiful color. Was shipped and delivered quickly but the fleece lining was sewn wrong in one of the sleeves to where it was not wearable as one couldn't put the right arm through the sleeve. I called customer service and they were polite and quickly shipped me a replacement without returning the defective shirt. The second one had a hole in the pocket. I did not bother calling customer service again because the shirt is wearable but it's so disappointing to see manufacturing errors in a shirt that cost $80.00. It's making me reconsider buying from them again as I don't live near a store and cannot easily return or exchange something. Very disappointed.

The only item from LL Bean that has been disappointing. Arrived with frayed pocket so I returned it and re-ordered same shirt. It, too, came with similar defect. Requested and received refund.

My mom bought this shirt for me for Christmas 2 years ago. My husband has several of them that show no signs of wear and tear even though he wears them every day so his must be made if a better fabric. Mine is falling apart and has holes in the fabric. Very disappointed

The colors in the one I ordered looked very different (duller, less vibrant) in person than in the catalog. Also, the material was not the quality I normally get from LL Bean products. disappointing. I returned it.

I feel quality has gone down. It's much thinner than the ones from four years ago.

In an extra small petite, the sleeves come down to my fingertips. The other extra small petite tops I ordered fit fine. This one is being returned. Too bad because otherwise I really liked it.

These shirts have been my go-to winter wear for years, I have several. I bought another one this fall in the same size as all my others, and the cuffs are so loose even when snapped that the sleeves dangle over my hands. The snaps can't be moved, so I had to pay a seamstress to put in new snaps. Sadly, I won't be ordering any more of them.

I have other fleece-lined flannel shirts that I've enjoyed over the years from LL Bean; however, this new shirt has the thinnest flannel that I've ever seen. I suspect that it will start to shred soon after a couple of washings.

I loved this shirt for a couple seasons until it started falling apart and ripping. Very poor quality. I really expected a product from Llbean to last longer. Very disappointed in the quality.

I don't know how many stars to give this shirt because I absolutely LOVED it. It's very cozy and I got a lot of complements. However, I while I wore it many times, I only washed it once (since I always have something under it. Anyway, yesterday I noticed a BIG tear in it and oddly an IDENTICAL tear on the other side. The I noticed that's it pilling. I'm not sure how the heck the tears got there. When I saw the first one I assumed that I caught on something and didn't realize it, but when I saw the second I wondered if there could be some odd weakness in the cloth. Especially since the tears are in the elbow area. Also, seeing the pilling concerned me. I'm still baffled. If I thought it was some sort of accident, I'd buy another when it was on sale, but sadly I have no confidence in the shirt now. :(

I purchased this item in the men's version for my husband and he loves it. The men's version is made with a thicker, soft-brushed cotton flannel, and comes in a "slightly fitted" fit. The women's is just a thin cotton shirt lined with fleece. It absolutely does not qualify as flannel. Also, why isn't the women's version offered in a "slightly fitted" cut? And as another review mentioned, the fleece seems to be cut longer than the cotton shirt so it doesn't lay properly or look flattering on. Also, both the women's and men's hooded fleece version of this shirt is also made with just a cheap cotton shirt, not flannel as I bought one of each for my daughter and son. They aren't picky and like them, but for the price paid, I considered returning them. Guess I'll stick with another company I buy flannel from-- it is thick, soft and handcrafted in the USA (and they match the patterns at the seams too--LLBean does not).

One if the snaps came off the first time I put it on our of the package it arrived in. The collar is so flimsy and thin it won't stand up - it's so well-insulated it seems obvious you'd be wearing it in weather during which the ability to protect your neck with the collar would be helpful!

Is there any way you could send me a new snap for the front of my beautiful cozy perfect shirt? Or refund my $ or send a new shirt exactly like this one, except for ALL THE SNAPS? please?

Lovely, but too expensive. I would have kept it but it was a little short. Should be offered in a tall.
