What has happened to LLBean quality? Very thin material, and made in Srilanka. 89.00.
Just disappointed.

I'm 5'2" and 125lbs and swimming in an extra small. The outer material feels cheap as well, not like flannel. It is very warm though!

I really wanted to like this. All the new tops, sweaters, jackets, shirts allow no room for something underneath. This is no different.

I don't like the fit and color as much as I liked the Sherpa lined shirt. The snaps are nice but the fit is big and boxy. Great for walking the dogs.

My husband has had a couple fleece lined flannels for awhile but I just bought one for myself. I get why he loves it. It's cozy, a great layer.
However it's disappointing to see how the quality of LLBean is going downhill. The first day wearing it I discovered the left pocket has a hole. It feels like a pain to try and exchangejust wish they were as committed to quality as they used to be.

The sleeves are several inches longer than my arms. Since when did petite mean longer sleeves. I like fabric but not happy with having to roll up fleece lined cuffs. Perhaps sleeve length should be included in description.

Arm length too long , cuffs on both sleeves must be rolled over to fit OK.

Material doesn't feel as "flannel-like" as I expected. Sleeves are so long that I must turn up the entire cuff. Collar width gives a cheap look. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm a true medium, and it fits fine except the super long sleeves.

I've been buying these for probably 20yrs. They used to have buttons and I was buying when returns were for life. The quality has suffered. I bought 2 identical ones, but the buttons on 1 were so tight they separated completely in weeks. As per L.L. Bean's long standing other issue with these, no matter how much you enjoy them at their ridiculous price given they simply last half the years as previous ones they have few color options and run out rapidly. This is EVERY year even if you're lucky to find something restocked it's RARE or a terriblecolor/size for most. I used to have at least 4-5 to choose from and I'm cold natured so they're a go to in cold AC even, but I have ONE and though I bought 3 others, they all had issues with their construction, basically falling apart quickly. Now, like last year, the only one available is the ugly green spruce in petite that clearly is an unpopular color, but noone at L.L. Bean seems to care anymore about customer satisfaction much less quality just their bottom line. Time to go elsewhere after nearly 40 years.

I do like this shirt even though the quality of Bean products, overall, has declined a lot over the many, many years I've been a shopper. This shirt came with an unsewn section along the back yoke. There wasn't even enough seam allowance to open up and repair the seam. I stuck a piece of iron on tape over the gap (it matched the plaid) and went on my merry way. But really, at the current prices, it "seams" like this should have been much better made.

Prefer buttons than snap-on. Size is slightly bigger.

This shirt was boxy and very unflattering. I ordered the Petite XXS and it still has way too much room. I've had issues with other LL Bean items fitting this way on me. Unfortunately, many stores just don't make well fitting clothing for very petite woman. Also, even if it fit, the price is too high for what you get.

I like the fleece lining, it fits, and the color works. But the flannel is far below what I've had from you before--this is exceedingly thin and hardly warrants being called flannel. I don't expect this to last very long. I'll still wear it as long as it's warm, though.

I think I got a mis-sized shirt. The shoulders are a full inch too narrow from every other medium I have including the other 2 (different styles) of shirtjacs I ordered. This has ample room in the body, but I find it restrictive to lift my arms even wearing nothing under it. I cannot tell if this is simply mis-sewn piece or if it's phenomenally bad design. I want one that fits, but I can't tell if a LP would so the trick, or to try a different in MP again. The body is roomy enough to be chubby and wear this. God help you if have shoulders. It's not like I"m built like a man at all, but I'm not a shrinking violet. Really disappointed as I wanted to love this. It reminds me of a Ralph Lauren flannel I wore out after 20 years (that fit perfectly off the rack).

This is a very warm shirt jacket. The fleece lining is divine, and the pockets are a nice feature. But unless I received a dud, the outside fabric is NOT flannel. At least it's not in the color I got, the darker green plaid. It's a soft cotton fabric, but much thinner than flannel. This is a gift for my mom, and I really wanted to give her a flannel lined with fleece like I gave to my dad last year for Christmas. L.L. Bean makes a wonderful fleece-lined flannel for men. Why do the women get short-changed?

I was very disappointed in this shirt. It didn't look like LL Bean's normal quality. It honestly looked like something from a cheap discount store. I sent it back.

Snuggly. We'll see how much it shrinks over time. Prettier in photo than real light - blues were softer in photo.
Keeping it, though.

This jacket is super soft and comfortable, the lining makes it nice and cozy. The patterns all seem a little less feminine then I would prefer. The sleeves are roomy making it easy to wear over a bulky top.

Lovely shirt/jacket but the extra small petite still too big. I need to return.

I wanted to like this shirt. The color and material was really nice, the lining was soft and warm. But, like so many apparel manufacturers now, it is extremely upsized. I ordered the XS and it fits like a big medium. I am so sick of this. because there are no true XS out there! If you like your shirts big and roomy, then this is the one for you. If, however, you are on the more petite size 0-4 side, then forget it! This will look like it's trying to swallow you.

At one snap position, half the snap was missing. Defective construction. Had to to exchange it and because our chosen color was not available, we decided to go with the Bright Sapphire color, which was still in stock. Not the optimal shopping experience.
