Really warm shirt. Great quality. Snaps are a little hard to snap. Probably still better than buttons for my arthritic hands.

Very nice medium weight lined shirt, if I had designed this shirt it would have an inner flap closed pocket for your cell phone. The outer material is not flannel but a nice cotton shell , too bad it has to be made in china I would pay more for clothing made in our country or at least EU, Canada or UK.

This shirt is instant happiness when you put it on. Comfortable, warm, soft, roomy, and the colors are vivid and beautiful. The women's shirt is slightly cinched at the waist, so looks really great. I loved this so much, I bought another one for myself and two more as gifts. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are not truly flannel. The plaid outer material is more like tee shirt cotton than flannel, and worries me that it might wear out quickly (though no signs of wear are apparent yet). But overall, I an thrilled with this product, and will be wearing mine daily during the winter!

I love this cozy, comfortable shirt! Great color, plenty warm for a lightweight cozy shirt to take the chill off. But - the pockets need a layer of fleece too. The pockets are just inside the flannel so cold breezes blow right through. I solved this by tacking in a little poly fleece lining, but I hope LL Bean will add this to the pockets in the next edition of this shirt.

Excellent upgrade from the overly loose fleece-lined flannel shirts of a couple years ago. This one fits nicely over a tee shirt, is just a tad shorter with a rounded hemline. Love the snaps and the pockets. The only miss (and reason I rated it down one star) was the color was not as shown in either the catalog or on the website. It's not a purple plaid, but more a deep cinnamon red. A lavender tee shirt looked awful under it. Was looking for a more purple/lavender plaid, but I like the fit so well that I'll keep it. To look its best, it does need ironing after being washed.

I purchased two last year and I love them, but I WISH SOME WERE OFFERED IN A PLAIN COLOR!! IM SICK OF PLAID PLAID PLAID PLAID!!

I love this shirt. My old fleece zip-up that I wear every single day around the house in winter was showing its age, so I decided to give this a try. It's wonderful! Love the fact that the fleece is in the sleeves, too. It makes me happy putting it on! My only (small) complaint is that the shoulders are a little boxy -- I look a bit like I have shoulder pads on. At the same time, the actual shoulder span is a little tight, even for a pretty petite person (5' 3", 135). The shirt fits great everywhere else, but when I stretch out my arms, it pulls tight across the shoulders. Mostly I wear it unbuttoned, so it's tolerable, but I do wish it were a little looser in that area. I love the snaps, and love the color (blue). Great shirt, all in all!

I bought this shirt/jacket knowing that the flannel was a light weight. At the moment it works as a morning jacket while I take my dog out to do his business at about 45 degrees and then hang out in the house as it warms up. It fits more like a bulky jacket than I would like but has lots of room for a heavier sweater underneath and is nice to throw on in a pinch.

Ordered the black/white plaid in medium- fits like a good layering shirt with a light fleece lining. Seems like the fleece was thicker on an older version, but it doesn't get cold enough here to be an issue. It's still comfortable enough to wear as a shirt-jacket hybrid on a chilly day, and it has pockets, and I like it so far.

First I ordered this in an extra small a few seasons ago because there were a lot of reviews saying it runs large. It fit, but the sleeves were too short. I kept it and just rolled the sleeves up, but after awhile it was driving me crazy, so I ordered a small. The sleeves are better, but I still wish they were just slightly longer. It's boxy overall. I'd like it a little slimmer and longer, but that doesn't stop me from wearing it. really warm and cozy.

The flannel is soft and a great color. The fleece lining is warm and comfortable to wear. My only complaint would be the length. The shirt tale barely reaches the pockets on my jeans. I was hoping it would be longer to so I could bend over while working outside.

I purchased this because I have to layer to keep warm. This is lined so I can wear just a cami under it. It is comfortable and launders well. I generally order medium for shirts because I have broad shoulders but a small might have looked a little better.

This is very attractive on, though it runs big and the fit is a bit boxy. I couldn't go a size smaller because I need the width in the chest. It definitely should fit closer at the neck; too much cool air can get in. I like the warmth in the sleeves as well as in the body. I didn't know if I would like the snaps since I have always gotten the shirts that button. They are taking a bit of getting used to, but are OK. I have not washed it yet, so I don't know if it shrinks. I am assuming it will probably shrink slightly because of the cotton exterior.

I bought this for my wife, who said that she wanted it for Christmas. It's warm and soft, and she loves it, but it looks quite boxy on her. She's happy with it, but it does look a bit like she's wearing a man's shirt, so she's decided to only wear it at home.

I am 5'9, 155 lbs. I love this shirt better than the older version of Women's Fleece-Lined Flannel Shirt- which is a button front with one chest pocket. (I have 3 of those) Why is it better? It has has side pockets!! The men's version of this shirt has had pockets for years. Finally they made a ladies version too. The pockets aren't on-seam, which is a great thing -which makes it better than the men's version. There are only 2 cons. (1) There needs to be a better color selection. (2) The outer layer isn't actually flannel, it's just a plaid shirt. Make the outer shirt flannel and you'll have the perfect shirt.

I am returning this great shirt because it is so large. I have worn Small in LLBean for years, but I've noticed a change in the sizing of many (not all) clothes. I'm not an XS person , but seems I have to downsize to get the right fit. This shirt is comfy and seems of good quality, but I feel like I'm wearing my big brother's shirt. Roomy is nice, but this is just too much.

It is just a bit too small for me in the hips. So wanted this to fit because I would love to have a heavier/lined flannel shirt. Need a 1X, but no plus sizes. Have to return it and very disappointed.

I originally got this thinking it would be more of a shirt instead of a jacket, I wish they would include that in the description. Initially disappointed over this, I ended up still loving it as a jacket because I can add layers underneath. The reason I love it so much is because it is soooo warm and comfy I could live in it, and I actually really like the look of it, I think it's cute.

This shirt is great! I love the comfortable warm lining, the length is perfect and the snaps are a wonderful touch but my favorite thing about it is the pockets. This makes the shirt perfect. My only complaint is the high price. I'll have to wear it a lot this winter to make it worth it. Shouldn't be a problem.

I bought the red plaid one and like it because the fleece lining is color coordinated instead of white (like the older models were). I like the side pockets, too. The only issue is with the new snaps; the snaps aren't all that easy to snap together. Sometimes it takes longer to snap the shirt closed than using buttons. The shirt laundered and came out of the dryer looking fine. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought the petite large in blue. I love the snaps and pockets. The sleeves were too long and the length was too short. It barely covers my bottom. Compared to my older ll bean shirts it is at least 3" shorter. I hope next year they will be made longer.

So cozy and easy to fit over a sweater! It's more rustic than I would have preferred, Wish it could be a solid color... all in all , a very comfy and useful jacket !

It's light, soft and warm on my body. I love all the pockets and the style, this shirt/jacket is so practical and it goes well with jeans or leggings. I ordered a second one for myself and one for my husband in men's style, he wears it all the time.

This is advertised as a shirt but it is more like a jacket. Nice and warm for the fall. It will also be nice inside when the temperatures go down. I love the black watch plaid. Also like that it has snaps. Very satisfied with it. The extra large is big enough to layer.
