Seems true to size. Wish Bean would do double snaps on the wrists to accommodate us short armed gals. I can move a button, but not a snap to tighten the wrist. If I were building this product the collar and cuffs would be stiffer to maintain shape and strength. I work outdoors in my clothes, they are not for leisure.

Very nice, soft flannel, and warm lining, but the color was much more drab than online. Not bright at all....more like a faded look. Returned it.

Fits well and is warm. I just hope it doesn't shrink up like some lined shirts in the past.

Very warm. Fit was a bit too large. I bought it as a gift and she didn't like the fit. It went back.

Super warm and comfortable. Looks a little bulky around the midsection. This will get a lot of wear in the yard and around the house! I bet it'll last forever!

This shirt/jacket is quite nice. The fit is perfect (not too boxy and sleeves that are actually long enough) and the lining (warm, cozy fleece) is lovely. Truly my only complaint about this item is the use of the word flannel in the description. At best the outer fabric of this shirt is a lightly brushed, thin cotton. It is not in anyway flannel in my books. It has no substance to it at all. For the price, I certainly expected better quality.

Love the snaps and the fit is perfect. Only issue, not as warm as it's previous model with the buttons. Pricey

This is the 4th shirt I've had. I like them a lot but I sit a lot watching tv with my arm on the sofa armrest which has caused holes in the sleeve of that arm. LLBean no longer has satisfaction guaranteed.

I bought the blue and white one. It is soft and comfortable. The color and style are exactly what the picture shows. The reason I didn't give this five stars is because I thought since it was a womans fleece it would be less boxy.

Light jacket warm enough for spring and fall days. Wish color is better.

I had to have this because I love the vivid colors (I ordered the sapphire)! These shirts are so cozy--they're like a wearable blanket. I do wish they had these in solid colors and not just plaids. I also agree with another reviewer that the pockets should be fleece lined along with the rest of the shirt. The plaid pattern on the sides of the shirt don't line up so if that bothers you, be forewarned.

Nice shirt, but not the same quality as the fleece lined flannel shirt I bought a few years ago (see pics). The black and white plaid shirt has a softer, more luxurious fleece that has held up through many washings. The pink plaid is nice, but seems like some cost cutting on the fleece lining.

This is a lovely warm shirt. Perfect to wear in cold weather. Nice feel to both the flannel outside and the fleece inside. I just washed it and it washed well.

This shirt is warm, soft, and comfortable. I love the bright sapphire color. I do wish it was available in a tall size. I am tall. I could use an inch more length on the sleeves and torso.

This shirt feels wonderful to wear, the fleece is so soft and light, it makes the shirt warm yet not bulky. It was a little short for me since I ordered petite, so I am returning it for a regular M. I'm short but have a long torso.

Very comfortable. I do wish it came in more Colors and some solid colors though.

For styling I would give this a 3. I bought a small and it is quite boxy. However, I give it a 4 because it is easily worn as a shirt or a jacket so it works in the crazy weather we are having. The fleece lining is comfortable. It washes beautifully and keeps its boxy shape. The pockets are very convenient. They don't fit a phone but they are good for a mask and a hankerchief.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is a medium generally. She found that the additional lining made the shoulders tight so had to go up to a large. Unfortunately she wanted a more popular pattern too so is waiting for March 2022 delivery. But I think all will be well then!

This is my second purchase of this cozy shirt. It's my go to shirt when driving the kids to school during early fall weather in Mississippi. This years shirt I ordered again in a small and the sizing is somewhat tighter around the chest. My one year old shirt is more to size.

Very comfortable, fits well, made well but I thought the flannel, outer layer would be a heavier weight of fabric. I'm concerned that it will wear sooner than the inside. Time will tell.

I own two of these. I prefer the jacket with snap closures and pockets. Perfect weight on a chilly day and not constricting. I only have to order XL for the correct arm length since llbean doesn't offer this in tall sizes; hence the 4 rating. I'd buy more llbean if more items offered the tall sizes.

I LOVE these insulated fleece flannel shirts! They have side pocket which are extremely helpful and snap that look like buttons, which are heavy duty and very convenient. I love the colors in the green plaid, but was a little disappointed at the size of the plaid. It's fairly large which gives this shirt a masculine vibe, which I wasn't happy about. I would have preferred the classic 2" x 2 " or smaller square sized plaid.

Well, it's not flannel on the outside, but it is fleece lined, and it is lovely and warm anyway. And it has pockets! I would definitely buy it again, but I wouldn't expect a flannel outside.
