The shirt is comfy and cozy for chilly days, BUT the description is inaccurate, the shell is NOT flannel. This was purchased with the expectation that it would be flannel on the outside, the flannel you get with an LLBean flannel shirt. I purchased a large because I prefer this type of top to be a bit oversized. I will recommend the shirt but warn any buyers NOT to expect flannel.

This shirt does not feel like flannel. I will use it but am disappointed because was expecting flannel.

Incredibly soft and warm. This is my 3rd shirt. Love them for chores around the farm. Fits a little snug in the shoulders this year

I love the snaps, the fleece lining, and the pockets! The outside material needs work as others have stated,it is not flannel The outside material makes it look and feel very cheap. It is a warm shirt for in my cold house. I have the med petite as the regular med is too long and sloppy looking.Would love to see it in a real soft flannel!! Please work on this Beans.

I didn't care for the flannel outside of this jacket/shirt. The shirt was nice tho and would be warm for fall snd early winter. Not very stylish tho.

The shirt is nice but way overpriced. Normal today unfortunately. When ordering I usually take a 1x it recommended 2x. So I did. Wrong, too big. Now I have to wait 3 weeks for an exchange. On top of that have to pay 6.50 return fee? Which is not right considering you recommend to go up a size!!! Very discouraging. The shirt is nice . But the quality for the price you pay could be better. But I still like the shirt.

Thought this would be great for my 99 yo mother. While it is well made, nice color and fits well, the snaps are impossible for her to navigate. She can only use it unsnapped which makes it use limited for her. Needless to say she is disappointed. Would have been much better for it to have nice covered buttons.

WOW! I Love the idea about this shirt! So very warm but lightweight and not too bulky! This is my second purchase. Love the snaps, too. Yes it is rather pricey. So why LLBean does the quality control on these shirts fall short? The first shirt I bought a couple of years ago....the placket was pressed incorrectly never to go back how it should be. My new shirt has a hole in the pocket! Yes I had to hand stitch it back together. Why LLBean? For the price we pay it should be 100%. Thus the 4 star rating.

The green color is really nice, this item is mid weight warm, the sleeves are a little less insulated than some of the similar flannel and fleece type tops. No stretch, so if you are on a size cusp, size up.

The shirt is very comfortable and the Rustic Red is beautiful. Despite ordering a " Petite", the sleeves are too long. I have ordered many LL Bean shirts in the past and those shirts always fit correctly.

I have a couple of these lined flannels. I like them. I purchased one for my Granddaughter. I really like the color with maroon and plum tones. However, my granddaughter choses not to wear it because the snaps are so difficult to overcome to snap successfully. I chose to use my bean bucks and discounts, unfortunately.

Love the colors and pockets, but wished LLB offered tall sizes for this product so I wouldn't have to order a size up in the regular. Just looks sloppier than it needs to be.

Warm, comfortable, easy to care for, good for fall and winter

Soft and practical, this fleece-lined shirt is great. I returned it because I was not happy feeling like a Lumberjack.

Fit was just fine. Love the snaps but it was just ok not outstanding. It's definitely warm and will be a great shirt to put on to take the dog out in the early morning.

I love this item and have been wearing it in the house every day.

Essential for colder weather! I have had one of these for years, and love it for comfort and warmth at home, and it's a good-looking jacket for spring and fall. I wish it were not quite as blocky--longer and narrower would be a better design for me.

I ordered this in a Large, my usual size for flannel shirts at LLBean. It was very big, even with a tee shirt underneath, especially across the shoulders, making it look more like a men's shirt. However, it seems very comfy and warm, so I'll try a medium.

Liked shirt overall except the sleeves were too long

Think it will be nice and warm. Had to shorten the sleeves. A bit disappointed in the lack of brightness in the color (plaid).

Love the Black Plum Plaid, so decided to order this shirt for those chilly indoor (we keep our thermostat a bit too low, I guess!) fall and winter days. I'm tall (5'9"ish) and have long arms, so ordered my usual size medium. Well, when I tried it on, the sleeves came down to almost the middle of my hand! Way too long, so returned it for a small. That fit much better, so the small is a keeper. The fit is a bit snug as the lining is thicker than I thought it'd be, but it'll be very warm and comfy over a turtleneck. The snaps are easy to handle, as well, so looking forward to wearing it.

Ordered the petite for a natural fitting sleeve length. No hanging to the finger tips.

Beautiful and comfortable shirt but I needed petite. The shoulders and arms are too big. I love it anyway. Next time I'll only order if it comes in a petite

Purchased to wear over other shirts when it's too chilly for one but not cold enough for a full-blown jacket. Very cozy feeling. Snaps are a bit hard to get snapped closed, but I expect that to ease a bit with use. Shoulders and body fit well, but sleeves are too long. I ended up rolling the cuffs up, which means they will wear out faster than the rest of the shirt.
