These shirts are thickly lined with fleece, which I didn't realize or want. Strictly for outdoor use. I returned them.

I ordered this shirt in Petite to replace an older one. It was back ordered but I had patience. I tried it on when it arrived and discovered the shirt sleeves and the overall size was identical to the Regular medium that I have. I checked and the order and the shirt were clearly labeled petite but did not measure that way. I spoke to customer service and the gal was terrific in trying to help me, but I ended up returning this shirt since the sleeves and overall size was not a petite, as advertised. Very disappointed and do not understand why this happened, so I am back to my worn out but very warm old shirt. No recommendation if you are expecting a petite.

I have been living in LL Bean fleece and flannel lined shirts for the last 22 winters. Unfortunately, they just keep getting cheaper and flimsier each year. This version is a full 4 inches shorter than my previous version - the pockets are silly looking and useless, and the fabric is thinner than in the past. I hate the snaps and have waited a few years for them to bring back a button version, but apparently that is not going to happen. This shirt went back the same day and I m giving up on LL Bean. Time to move on...

This is not a shirt. It is more like a jacket. It is boxy and has pockets. The sleeves are way too long for a petite. The fabric is flimsy and I need to iron it after washing. It is warm and the colors are nice.

Bought two, immediately returned both of them. Purchased a men's version for Dear Husband; he liked it enough to keep it, but wasn't overly thrilled.
Paper-thin cotton that LLB is attempting to pass off as 'flannel'. The heft of this shirt comes from the fleece interior, NOT the outer layer that has been cleverly designed to resemble actual flannel.
Not brushed, not thick. Paper-thin fabric I expect will not last more than one or two seasons.
LL Bean, please return your manufacturing/sourcing to the U.S.A. Now I know why the LLB return policy was changed in 2018; everything seems to be sourced globally, with little thought to quality. Apparel/products now have a sadly-short lifespan, due to the fact that none of it is made here, and probably bought in 'lots' from whatever foreign factory offers the lowest cost per unit.

This "flannel" shirt does not live up to its name. It is just plaid Cotton. I returned it. We have been disappointed in llbean products for a while now. Will shop at our local stores.
