I live in Northern Minnesota where I need to be warm. I own two of these Llbean fleece lined shirts and I switch them out every day in the winter. They keep me warm all day. I only wish the outside fabric was a brushed flannel. It's really just a cotton plaid fabric. I like the light blue and love that you have added pockets and snaps.

I love the previous shirts with the buttons but this one doesn't have the option of a second snap on the sleeves. So the sleeves, which are a little longer, are not closer to the wrist and therefore hangs too long. Needs a second snap.

Runs HUGE....had to send it back and get a much smaller size. Great for Colorado weather.

I love the color and feel of it, but it makes me look extra wide. I guess the way the shoulders are made they look padded or extra long. I really wanted to love it but didn't like how I look in it.

I wanted the reviewers to be wrong but unfortunately I agree with them. I had high hopes for this shirt but like others, I found the "flannel" material to be thin and cheap, not at all like so many flannel shirts I've owned from LL Bean. I recently brought my husband the men's Sherpa lined flannel for Christmas and it is such better quality. I purchased this one with a gift card and don't live near a store, so I'll probably just keep to avoid mailing it back, but I'm disappointed and wish it was better quality.

The sleeves are way too long. The snaps are difficult to close. The pattern is a nice colour and it's warm. That's about all that's good.

Metal snaps instead of buttons isn't preferable and size runs smaller than previous comparable items.

Ordered for my daughter. Love the color but it was too small. I should have ordered a 2XL, but I ordered a 2X.

Have a similar described shirt bought maybe 10 years ago which I loved but is deteriorating from lots of wear. Hopes this would replace but this one is not as fluffy fleece and lighter in weight; pretty plaid and good pockets but not as good for twice what I paid for first one.

I owned an LL Bean fleece lined flannel in the past and purchased this as a replacement. Unfortunately, this is no where near the quality of 12 years agothe fleece lining is pretty good, except it no longer includes the collar. The snaps v buttons are no big deal for me. The color options are great. However, the outer shirt material is terrible. I'm talking thinner than an oxford button down shirtit feels like a sheet. They can call it "flannel" because it has a flannel pattern but it is not a chamois flannel material, it's a very thin cotton that will wear out and get holes quickly with any kind of real use. Very overpriced and disappointing lack of quality.

I have 3 purchased 3 of these shirts and found while they are the coziest shirts I have ever owned, the quality does not live up to the price. I love the snaps, the feel, the warmth and a few of the colors. But the flannel outside is very thin and does not hold up well. Sleeves and collar frayed quickly and I had to patch my first one in the body till it was too weak to patch any longer and sadly I had to throw it away. ( not even donate!) The more recent ones are even thinner/weaker quality, and look raggy after washing. If I didn't love the feel of this shirt so much, I would never buy another - especially at this exhorbitant price- or even bother to write a review. ( my first ever!) but please deliver the quality LL Bean promises. Cheap imports can be had anywhere, at expected prices. I have recommended this shirt to so many friends, and now feel sorry. I tried to save a few $ by signing up for emails but it didn't work. So I've reconsidered ordering another shirt, even though I live in them in the winter.

This item was disappointing. The cut is very generous, shapeless and boxy. I ordered a small which is typical for me but it runs large. The fabric is odd too. It's as if the plaid is printed on the fabric and not woven into it. The colors are not as rich as they appeared on my computer screen. They are a bit flat and dull. I'm keeping it because it is a warm layer that I can make use of. I like the fleece lining.

I had to return the first shirt I received by mail because it had a ripped pocket. Second was fine, not damaged. It's comfortable but I think the collar should be lined too. The collar is only made of the outside layer which is a thin cotton fabric, not flannel. The rest, including the cuffs have the fleece lining. Overall it needs improvements.

I wanted this to fit because it was super soft and cute. The petite XS was enormous on me. I used to be able to wear LL Bean petite XS, but the sizing has gotten much bigger over the years. Wish you made a XXXS.

I have a number of these tops in various colors, all pretty old at this point. So I bought a new one to start replacing the old ones. The fit is very poor compared to past design. The length is a few inches longer, though I bought same size as in the past. Too long for a petite torso! Also the width is a bit too narrow, a bit tight in shoulder and bust compared with previous model. I did try sizing up but then the top was long as a dress on me! Overall too long and too narrow.

I like this shirt and think it's very warm and cozy for winter, but I think the description is misleading. It is not flannel. It is a thin jersey type fabric. The inside is a nice fleece as described. I love the snaps instead of buttons but they can be a bit difficult to snap, especially with arthritic thumbs. I love the pockets! They are not fleece-lined, however, which is disappointing. All in all a nice shirt, but definitely not worth the original price. LLBean has gotten ridiculous with their prices.

I have two of these and plan to buy at least two more. I am always cold and these are so warm. I camp often and this is my go to shirt on cool mornings and evenings.

These flannel lined shirts are wonderfully warm and comfortable but here is why I only gave it three stars: 1) I don't like snaps. Please bring back the buttons. 2) And again per reviews of other LL Bean "tops," why can't the flannel color be a blue to match one of the blues in the shirt? It just seems cheap of LL Bean to save money by using the same color on all the shirts regardless of the shirt color. I'd rather pay a little more to receive the quality LL Bean used to have.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. She tried it on and the whole lining in one pocket is torn! She said she can sew it to fix it since the color she wanted is sold out, but for $90 it seems crazy to have to sew it to fix it! Other than that it's a nice flannel and very warm.

This shirt fits well, is warm and cozy and can be used as a light jacket or under a parka depending on the weather. I would give it a solid 5 if it was a little sturdier. This the 3rd time I have bought one of these, once again hoping it will last a little better. They are not very sturdy. The cuffs and pockets rip first (and no, I don't put anything heavy in the pockets), and then the entire sleeve frays and rips. They haven't lasted more than a year.

This was a gift to my daughter. It was to replace her shirt that I gave her three years ago. It's much thinner material and has snaps instead of buttons. She likes it but the guality is not as good as her older shirt. Very disappointed.

I bought this shirt because of how soft and warm it looked and I fell in love with the teal color scheme. While it was as soft and warm as it looked I find every time I take it out of my closet I'd put it back- I received this item with a large hole inside the right pocket and it bothers me very much, I tell myself I'll get it fixed but then don't because I shouldn't have to pay money to fix a brand new $90 shirt. I wish llbeans quality and 100% satisfaction guarantee still existed, I have been disappointed in the quality of the last couple items I have purchased.

I have three of these shirts. A couple with hoods from 5 years ago. The older ones are incredible quality cotton with no piling. However, the one I bought this year is piling all over. I'm so disappointed in the cotton quality this time around. My shirts from 5 years ago are industrial and will last forever. Please bring back the higher quality cotton.

I really enjoy this shirt, and I wear it everyday. My disappointment is that this morning one of the snaps pulled out of the fabric.
