I have been looking for a Fair Isle warm sweater for winter for some time and this fits the bill! The size small fits my 5'5" 120 lb frame perfectly leaving room for a base layer. The sweater sits below waist which is hard to find as most sweaters these days seem to be short and to me are just not practical for cold weather months. Quality is great as I expect to hold up for a few years.

I'm used to being a little bit cold all winter - usually the coldest person in the house - but I've been warmer than my husband this year with this sweater on!!

I bought the sweater for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves it, and has gotten many compliments on it. It is also nice and warm in the Winter cold weather days.

I bought a small petite and the sleeves are perfection on me. I couldn't be happier because I was searching for a navy blue casual wool sweater and this is perfect. So far, it's not pilling much, it's somewhere between boxy and fitted so it looks casual without it being huge looking. It lands below my hips but not to far below. The fair isle design isn't too much, but it's very pleasant. You have to wear something underneath, because wool has sharp little claws on it. I'm a spinner and I've looked at wool under a microscope and seen those claws. It's really warm.

I got this sweater both for me and one of my sisters because it is handsome and warm. I got the small regular for me and the medium petite for her. The navy is lovely, with white, navy, and green patterning on the yoke and cuffs. These decorative wool sweaters made in China are really nicely knitted and shaped, though they run large. You have to size down. I wear mine with the LL Bean raven blue cowl neck T. Lots of compliments!

I love this sweater for its looks and the way it fits me. It does not itch as the material is smooth and comfortable.

I'm so glad I got this sweater. It's the warmest sweater I have - very thick and comfy. Being rag wool you'll need to wear a t-shirt of turtleneck under it cuz it's a little scratchy, but I knew it would be. It's been 25 degrees below zero for the last week here in Alaska, and I'm so thankful I got it. Plus it really is quite beautiful. I got the natural oatmeal color.

I received this sweater as a Christmas gift and I love it. It is hard to find wool sweaters and living in New England, we need them. It fits perfect and is very warm.

Its beautifully made and comfortable. I usually wear a lightweight long sleeve t-shirt under it and it keeps me very warm.

I got the off white version of this sweater. I got it one size larger than I usually would. I like them to run a little larger. I have received many compliments. It works with pants and skirts. Looks great with a vest over it. Makes it great for layering.

Very nice and warm sweater

I have lived in my L.L. Bean Ragg Wool Fair Isle sweater paired with my L.L. Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel shirt. They look fantastic together. Super comfortable and keeps me warm, which is what I aim for. I believe both pieces will last me a very long time because they both are very well made!

Just arrived late today. I put it on immediately. Perfect fit. I love it. Purchased with gift card. I am replacing a very old similar sweater. This sweater has great quality. It is soft, beautifully made, and thin enough to layer under all my winter outwear. I look forward to wearing this sweater for many winters to come.

This sweater is a Christmas present for my Mom. She loves it. Tried to order it last year and it was out of stock. Glad I got it ordered early this year. Maryland winters can be really cold.

I am nearly 6 ft and relatively slim and usually have a hard time finding sweaters with long enough torso or sleeves. I loved the catalog images of this sweater on a model. It actually fits just right on me, long enough and wide enough without being loose and baggy. It's a miracle. Love LL Bean products. Too lazy to go to mall to try on everything. Lucked out here.

This sweater is super comfortable and is classic in design. It is wool so I wear a shirt underneath.

This is a cozy sweater that runs a little big but leaves room for layers. The cut is not boxy so even a little big it looks great. Also I was kept me warm and cozy in -9 Minnesota winter.

I was looking for a warm pullover in a darker color and the navy sweater is wonderful layered with a turtleneck. Love the weight, fit and how cozy it is. Real quality, very pleased. Its hard to find a nice wool sweater these days.

This sweater is a great buy. Great colors so I can wear a variety of colored turtlenecks underneath. I am 5'5", 141 lbs and wear a large which fits comfortably. Would recommend to anyone wanting a warm, comfortable fitting sweater.
