During northern winters we need warm sweaters so I purchased this rag wool pullover. The fair isle pattern is flattering. The fit is great, allowing a long sleeve under garment and shirt underneath. With a down vest over this sweater, outdoor walking is comfortable this cold February day. It's equally as comfy indoors with just a shirt under. Very happy with this sweater.

seems to be warm. only had it a few weeks. can go outside in below freezing weather with jersey, thi sweater, and a thinner jacket.

I'd been looking for a Fair isle sweater, esp from LLBean because I love the quality of all their products. I ended up getting this one in the Large because they were out of other sizes. (I usually order a Medium.) While the Med would have been a closer-body fit, the Large is actually fun and cozy -- very snuggly-warm. And the sleeves are nice and long for me! This is a keeper. I found it in the pastel design and it's lovely. Great with jeans. Tee shirt underneath or not. Good for winter days!

Extremely warm and not too bulky. A great addition on a cold windy day because of the very tight knit. Pretty too. Enthusiastically recommended.

This is a beautiful, heavy, old fashioned fair isle sweater. It fits perfectly without being baggy, too long, or too tight. I have a million sweaters and this is my newest favorite. The quality is excellent and it will last forever. This is a winter sweater despite the lovely soft colors-it will be way too warm above 50 degrees, but for now it's perfect. Don't be tempted to order up or you may find it too big. There is plenty of extra room for a turtleneck.

I thought the upper-torso Fair Isle design of this sweater would be attractive on Zoom, and it is. Always draws compliments. I usually wear a PM but bought PS based on reviews that it ran large; however, I returned the PS sweater for a PM, and it is perfect. Reviews said it was scratchy, and I am sensitive to wool with prickly fibers even with a turtleneck and undershirt underneath, but it feels like regular wool to me. No problem there. Cozy warm. Versatile because it iooks good with red, navy, and ivory. I consider this sweater a winner.

I bought this sweater for my 11-yo granddaughter who is a little shorter than her other classmates. Consequently, I ordered the xs petite size and it fit perfectly (a little long in the sleeves, but that's not a problem). It's beautiful and warm - reminds me of the sweater that I spent over a year knitting for her mother many years ago.

I love sweaters. I live in them all winter. I also love fair isle prints. I immediately ordered this sweater because of the colors. When I tried it on, I realized the warmth of this sweater. It is a gift to be beautiful and so well made. Like everything Bean, it is meant to be worn all winter and it is meant to last and to be so lovely.

I love a Fair Isle and navy is my favorite color. I really like the navy, green and white pattern.it will look great when it gets cold enough to wear it next winter. It's a little baggy with plenty of room for layering.

I tried this sweater in both xs regular and petite small. I also tried the petite xs in another color of this sweater. I found the petite small too wide in the body. I found the main difference between the xs reg. and petite small was the width in the body. The sleeve length and length in body were otherwise very similar. The petite xs was way too short in the body and sleeves were just barely long enough. I should note, I am someone who can't stand sleeves that are too short. So once I found the right size for me, no complaints. It did make me wonder though how well this sweater fits average to tall people as I'm only 5'2". Sweater is nice and warm and will get plenty of use.

I first ordered this sweater in a petite medium. It was too big. I called and asked about the size of the petite small, or a regular small. We decided a petite small might work, and it was sent IMMEDIATELY! I tried it; it fit; and I then returned the petite medium. I really love this sweater! Thank you for the great service.
