It is a beautiful sweater. It is soft and warm, 100% lamb wool. With the price I paid It is a bargain.

I live in an old, drafty house in New England and work outside all day. This sweater is warm, soft, and so comfortable. It is roomy enough for layering and keeps me warm, even on the most blustery winter days. It's beautiful too and has quickly become my favorite sweater.

This sweater is much more beautiful in person than it is online, & having received it, I have worn it several times & it is now my favorite sweater, not only because it's so delightfully warm, but because of its exceptionally aesthetic qualities. It's one of the most beautiful sweaters I have ever had the privilege to wear. Every time I wear it, people tell me what a lovely sweater it is & ask me where I got it. "L. L. Bean, of course" I say. "Where else would I go to buy a sweater that is as beautiful as it is practical & useful?" I think that sums up the myriad of sweaters that I have from L. L. Bean- beautiful, practical, useful. For anyone who might balk at the initial cost- these sweaters last forever if you care for them properly.

I love this sweater! I was looking for a Fair Isle Sweater that was classic rather than super trendy. This one is beautiful and warm. I have gotten many compliments. I would definitely order it again.

Very warm. Can size down if not planning to have many layers underneath. But probably take your usual size if planning to have a few layers. Not super soft, but what you would expect from ragg wool.

A beautiful sweater. Not super soft but def not itchy. Large is an excellent fit (I am 5'8 and 130). Wanted an oversized look for leggings. Great for outdoor winter walks. Happy with purchase!

Love this sweater!! The fall colors are different from all the grays that are so common. So warm and toasty in colder weather. Fits as expected.

Soft wool, easy to wear. Fair Isle pattern is well matched over shoulders. Love the fit and style, colour (white, black and grey). Weight is perfect for being outside in 40F weather without a coat. Nice to wear inside when sitting still, watching movies or working on computer - otherwise, too hot!

Perfect for the colder months, A new favorite. Well made, it feels like a hand knit sweater. Warm enough to wear on its own in the Autumn and with my down vest on colder days. I purchased the neutral one with grey and black, snowy owl colors. I was relieved that it is not a scratchy wool.

I love that this sweater is wool and not cotton. It's made to last years. Fair Isles sweaters are a classic that's having a moment so it's fun to be on trend and know that I can wear this piece for years. Lovely saturated colors and true to size, slightly slim fit. I'm a petite XL and find this a flattering look.

This is a heavy wool sweater, just what I wanted for a midwestern winter. I was hoping for something all wool, but a little bit lighter in weight, but this will work fine. It could be worn to work with a blouse underneath, but I will mostly be wearing it on weekends.
