My left foot hurt bad, like never before across the midfoot. I saw that it was seriously pronating. I have worn Olympus for years ever since my podiatrist prescribed them, a new pair every 3-6onths without any problems. I have recommended Altra Olympus to countless people when they notice & comment on my shoes. I was trying to avoid paying $180 for one pair of shoes by trying the Provision. No good for me. I actually KT taped my foot to be able to work on it the next day.

I've Had the Viho and Superior and they were wonderful for my funny shaped feet (wide at the forefoot, narrower at the heel). Wore these and they killed my feet just to simply walk in. Caused me to limp/walk funny to avoid the discomfort. The shape between the heel and arch is painful. Also they squeak, but I would have dealt with that if they were comfy. Had to return them.

The shoestrings are WAY too short. The tongue is not the typical padded cloth, but is more plastic-like. Consequently, the tongue drifts off to the outside of the shoe after only a few steps.

The length was just right. The forefoot width was just right. However, the mid-foot width and the heel were too wide.

I am a super Altra fan for the last 5 years and have owned at least 10 pairs. They have substantially helped my back pain. Love how these shoes feel and the green/white colorway is super fun but the durability is just horrible. Durability has been going downhill since the company was sold, but it's now very bad. I've had these shoes for 3.5 months and both R and L shoes have holes in the toes. For a premium priced running shoe this is unacceptable.

I bought these approximately two months ago. Have barely worn them because they make my legs ache. I started out with the 2.5 or 3. I loved them. They fit perfect. They were substantial in everything on them. Then you guys changed them. So your reb advised me to get the paradigm hated it. So I bought these they feel like the heel is made out of cardboard. The toes sink in nothing holding the cloth up. I don't feel like the guardrail is even there. Change them back please. These new ones are worthless.

i ignored the reviews that said the heel is problematic. but when i got these shoes and ran in them, the heel is problematic. it's too narrow. very weird experience. otherwise the shoe is great, but well - unusable.
