Excellent shoes with a bit of a paddle front to them! Very soft underfoot support and I could probably walk all day in them, no problem. Very light weight as well!

It’s taken months to finally find a show that fits this well. Wife toebox, low enough cut not to rub my ankle bones, sturdy and comfortable for running or working out. Having tried dozens of other brands and sending them back (glad Zappos hasn’t named me yet), I think Altra might be the only brand I ever buy again.

ALTRA hit another home run! I love these shoes. I swapped out the coral colored laces for black, but that's the only issue. They're super comfortable!!

Purchased these shoes as a primary Hiker for PNW trails. The Lone Peak 6 is sure footed and comfortable in all of the terrains I've even on. Zero drop and wide toe box is a game changer for my foot comfort.

This shoe fits my foot perfectly just enough space for toes to splay, plenty of traction on dry/wet and moss surface. Good beginner shoe but you need to get used the zero drop.

The shoelaces are more coral than red, so I swapped them out for some black ones. Altra doesn't have extra due to the supply chain shortages everywhere, but the laces are universal and not custom. Super comfortable shoe!!

I got the wide size for a nice large toe box. The heel box is not too wide. With right lacing pattern can lock posterior foot, so no slippage despite more toe room. Drainage excellent. Awesome!

I normally wear Nike 10W. I got the LP6 in 43.5 Regular. I needed new gym shoes and loved the foot shape in my Altra runners. Read the reviews on the Altra gym shoes and looking at the construction I could see that they didn't have enough structure in the forefoot and would likely stretch out from power planting, side to side torque and foot flexion. The LP6 looked more structured and up to the task. I read the reviews on the wide version of the LP6 and decided to trust the reviewers who said it was too loose even for wide feet. I went with regular width because I want a close fitting, stable shoe when I lift. For my wide feet and purpose, the LP6 is bang on. My feet feel secure from heel to toe and the forefoot shape is just wide enough to keep my mid-foot locked in without feeling restricted. I've been wearing the LP6 in the gym, daily for about 5 weeks now and they have packed down ever so slightly but don't seem to have stretched at all in the forefoot. I'm not a huge fan of black shoes but I went with it as the best available option. I'd like the color offerings to be a bit more standard and less garish for the gym, but ultimately function over form makes this a great workout shoe. Thanks Altra.

First of all let me just say by far very comfortable shoes. I tell everyone about them. I use them on the trails running/walking. They never fail me.

So suffering year to year of having a wide foot. These shoes are the most comfortable sneakers I have worn. It has taken me quite some time to get adjusted to the lower heal. Great shoe.

I'm loving them so far. The changes from the 5 to the 6 appear to be slight but when I slid them on and took my first run I could feel the differences. I still like my 5s but they're rapidly being phase out of my rotation

I have owned all the Superiors and just one Lone Peak, due to the past Lone Peaks being like a clog on my feet, but Altra got this one 100. It's the best of both worlds, weight is on point, rebound is great, and still plenty on trail feel with adequate protection. As I run mainly technical trails. I PR'd on my first tour in these shoes. Please don't change.

Love the LP6! I last tried on an LP4 so my review is based on the noticeable improvements over the LP4. But the mesh upper is noticeably better. Great grip with the MaxTrac, roomy toebox, fits true to size. Love it. No complaints atm, we'll see about the durability though.

I recently found Altra, after having purchased several Hoka products over the years. I have wide feet. I came across your specially shaped toe box and knew I had to try a pair of Altras. I got LP5's in the wide offering. This has changed my life. I couldn't be happier with the shoe and the fit! I instantly researched more about your shoes in an effort to purchase another pair with additional cushion. Unfortunately I've come to learn unless I buy $170 Olympus4's I have no other trail option. Please continue to make great shoes but include more options in "original fit" width and even extra wide versions like available in the LP5! Reading comments and watching Youtube videos it seems like everyone is saying the same thing. Stop going narrow and cutting out the major reason we all came to Altra! Can we get a Timp in an OG fit? Sadly I'm stuck having to buy Topo Mtn Racer 2's. You've missed out on a second purchase from a new fan!!!

Love the wide toe box - have been slowly starting to run in them to get used to the zero drop. Took them on a 12 mile hike and they were fantastic. Everyone in my group was complaining about their toes but not me! Very light weight and seem to be durable enough. Got some water in the shoe twice on the hike but within' 30 minutes the shoe and my socks were dry.

Feels natural to my foot, stance and form. Love running in this shoe! With other brands it feels like the shoe is fighting against my foot, stance and form. Great quality product!

I am a huge Altra fan and probably have 8 pair of various models with Lone Peak being my favorite. I have wider feet and the natural foot shape is perfect for me. My suggestion is that you start making cycling shoes for mountain bikers. I have never found a mountain bike shoe that is comfortable.

Next time I'll go a half size smaller, but these make my Keen work shoes feel uncomfortable by comparison. My Keen's we're my previous favorite shoes ever. I leave the house more just so I can put them on.
