First time trying zero-drop shoes - don't think I could go back to a "regular" pair of trail runners. Wear them hiking TX state parks & as everyday around town shoes. So comfortable!

The shoe feels like I'm wearing warm slippers with it tiger like grip underneath.

These shoes are the best shoes that I have ever worn in my life. Love the wide fit. I also love that it came in a cute color and not some ugly color. Work at a hospital and I'm on my feet. Love!

I bought these shoes from a local running store primarily for a hiking trip in the Smokey Mountains. These shoes needed no break in period whatsoever, they are absolutely the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. Light weight and withstood the stresses of long hikes with many extreme elevation changes. Shoes also grip well in rough terrain; they held up great too. I can honestly recommend to anyone, I'll definitely be purchasing again in the future.

Have had a lot of toe issues over the years when running over 7 miles a run. Have had no toe issues running more then 7 miles in these shoes.

This is the best fit of an Altra, or any running shoe I've had yet. The midfoot and heel are super secure while the toebox allows for plenty of room and movement. The upper, especially over the toebox, is so thin and breathable while still being strong and protective that it makes me wonder why all shoes don't have the same upper. Laces are strong too and don't slip with just a single knot. Overall, I can't express enough how great these shoes are on any surface.

Just got the lone peak 6's in 10.5, this is my 3rd pair. I use my Lone Peaks to run on the AT. They are the best shoes I've found for this. I use them with Altra gaiters when I trail run. I have used them for a little road running and they work well for that too. Some are complaining about them being too wide, I kinda wish they were a bit wider! If you are a "wideness wimp", try one of the narrower offerings from Altra and stop trying to narrow up my Lone Peaks!

I wear these ever day, they are breathable and they are wider and more durable then the all weathers

I very much liked the Lone Peak 4 when it came out; and this one is perhaps even better. It's lighter, thin materials, a bit more "grippy"; and I'm just really happy with it as a summer or hot-weather shoe. I liked the lacing set-up on the LP 4 better, as I could get a more snug fit, but these (the LP 6's) work well enough to secure the foot.

These are a gift from the gods. They have replaced Nike in my workout routine - aggressive rowing machine for an hour.aggressive matrix recumbent exercise bike for an hour.assorted weighed machines. The toe box is a life saver. I've gone from miserable feet after a workout in Nike shoes to a spring in my step with this Altria shoe. I'll continue to own Nike stock by save my feet with Altras
