It doesn't weigh much. My daughter is petit and the size is adequate. It has enough space and compartments.

I got this backpack for my 8-year-old for camp because she has to bring a lot with her each dayincluding three bathing suits and towels. This backpack is very large and fits everything well. The material is thick and durable. I would definitely recommend it.

Product quality was as expected

This backpack is great. It has lots of room and different pockets for everything that you need. I love the new padded pocket that they have for your phone also. The only negative thing I have to say is that the initials were a lot smaller than I would have liked. But the pattern looked really good in person and my daughter loved it.

We love LL Bean bookbags and this one did not disappoint. It is spacious and durable which is what I need for my son who is tough on everything. We are only getting this one because the zipper became stuck after the 3rd year of use on his previous bag.

I received this model for Christmas in Kindergarten and it lasted me through my senior year of high school HAULING books back and forth, tossed around during sports seasons. When the bottom of my bag finally gave way my entire family had a ceremonial end for it. People would be amazed when I told them how old it was and how great of quality it held up. This bag is QUALITY. I love how the new models have a water bottle sleeve but..! **please bring back the classic Hawaiian flower print!*

I bought this backpack for my kindergartener because since I'm planning on it lasting until at least middle school, I needed it to be large, sturdy and reliable. The print is beautiful and there are so many different pockets and compartments for every item imaginable. Love the water bottle holders on the sides.

Excellent book bag..my 2nd time ordering a book bag from here..the features and pockets is just the right size she needs and she fits everything she needs in it for school..I order her 1st one here when she was in 7th grade and still in good shape even after I washed it in the washing machine.. since her last year in high school she just wanted new bag..I recommend this to anyone..the price is right on point for me... thank you for bringing us great products..I I will be ordering again in the future..this is the first book bag I brought from you years ago

I ordered this to replace one we purchased three years ago for our grandson. The old one is still in great condition but we're getting a new one anyway! This backpack has so many wonderful features (zippers and pockets!) and the pocket for water bottles is a welcome addition. It is far superior to the competitor's backpack for the same price. It's outstanding.

My daughter is going from elementary to Jr. High, and we needed a bigger backpack. We were looking for one big enough to hold all of her books and binders. It was very important that it also be sturdy enough that the bottom didn't fall out. This backpack is exactly what we were looking for!

This backpack is fantastic! Lots of separate pockets and storage areas, very sturdy and the print is lovely. My daughter is extra-special excited for the new school year, knowing she'll have this beauty on her back! I was looking for a good quality backpack for my 13 year old daughter and so far this one is great! She needs a lot of room because she likes to carry most of her books with her and doesn't really like using her locker much. Other backpacks have ripped and gotten holes in them, and although we haven't had this one for very long it already seems better than anything else we have tried. I like how it has two different book compartments because her schedule alternates between M/W classes and Tu/Th classes so it allows her to keep her books organized by day. I also like how it has a place for her laptop. The pencil/accessory compartment is roomy and helpful in keeping things organized. I hope this backpack will make it through this school year, and if it can survive my daughter it can survive anything!

I purchased this backpack for my daughter and she LOVES it! She was excited about all the different compartments and the overall size. Couldn't wait to use it for school so she used it during one of our family trips and was very excited all of her items fit inside and how easy it was to carry. Especially liked the waist belt feature!

LL Bean school backpacks are designed to fit kids bodies and they are very sturdy. They hold up well to all the wear and tear of every day use and they come in great designs that young people like. We buy a few every year to donate at the beginning of the school year.

Adorable pattern, very durable, water bottle and tablet pockets

Bought this in camouflage for hubby to have as a carry on that would hold his Cpap machine as well as his iPad and other essentials.

For my 6-yr old g'daughter, she loved it & she did select it, though this is not the correct one (she did receive the one she chose/blue/purplish/green)! ...Birthday gift. Long time (50+yrs) Bean customer, now the 4th generation! I am a LLBean ambassador..ha!
