I ordered this backpack based on the reviews, and I am very pleased with it. It's thoughtfully designed with different compartments, and the construction is solid. My son is in kindergarten, and I told him that he might have this backpack all through elementary school.

I purchased this backpack to use as our preschool classroom emergency backpack for walking field trips, ECO (Educating Children Outdoors) days, the playground, etc. It is visible, comfortable, and has plenty of storage for anything we may need (bandaids, emergency contact information, wipes, extra mittens, etc.)

Nice backpack for older elementary school kids. My son loves the laptop pocket and the front pocket. Very spacious but not too big.

Excellent! The first backpack I received was clearly defective and LL Bean promptly responded to my inquiry and sent a new one the same day without hesitation. I don't know which is betterthe backpack or the superb customer service! My son's new backpack arrived and did not have the same issue as the first.

Yep, just what we wanted. Seems high quality like others and the size is great for little bigger little kids (son is 8). We added a couple of patches to personalize. That would be a nice option to customize (just saying llbean) otherwise it's perfect.

Our son just started kindergarten and we loved the colors of this bag. I love how many compartments it has and its nice and light weight.
