One of the inside zipper was broken. I didn't bother returning because of the hassle but I will not get another bag.

Defective arm straps

We bought this for my son, and the seams are already ripping, primarily around the water bottle holder. We were told we can exchange; however we're responsible for the shipping despite not having a store nearby. Disappointed with how L.L. Bean is handling the current customer service. We expected more when purchasing from L.L. Bean.

I am so sad that this backpack has been used for less than a month and one of the straps is already ripping away from the top of the bag. Returning already.

I purchased this backpack for my daughter thinking it would last years. We didn't use it 2020 due to Covid. She used it 21-22 and 22-23 and the strap is already coming apart. I will purchase a new one from a different company with a better guarantee. I purchased my youngest the same pack back last year and her strap is already starting to pull, as well.

This is the second time that the top handle has started to rip after a month of use by my 1st grader. Already went through the return process but because he needs his backpack I had to purchase another and then send it back. Disappointed because I've had friends have their LLBean backpack for 20+ years and want the same for my son.

I bought this 3 weeks ago for my 7 year old and the strap is already beginning to rip. His backpack is never heavy. Very disappointing.
