These were purchased by me for my grandsons. The book bags are strong, long lasting and they like the way they look. So, bottom line, they love them.

We are so happy with these backpacks! I got 3, and they are awesome. They are plenty big enough for all the things my kids need to carry, but not too big for my 1st grader. The personalization is fun and there are so many vibrant colors. We got red, royal blue, and the dark purple. It's also fun because I had one of these that I used all through high school and college, so it's fun to see that tradition pass on to my kids!

My parents bought me this bag when I was 10 years old. It was overstuffed and carried through middle school, high school, and college. It has traveled all over the world with me as an adult as a carry on or sometimes my only bag. Only just now did I manage to snag a hole in it while lugging it through Australia. In deciding which new travel bag to order, I got back on LLBean to see if they still make the backpack so I can reorder for my next 20 years.

I've bought this same back pack for all six of my children when they started high school and it was with them through high school, college and into their first apartments. This is my son's third LL Bean backpack. I love how they've grown with him from preschool to elementary school and now middle school. With separate sections for his laptop, books, and snacks, plus a clip for keys and outside pocket for a water bottle, it has everything he needs to stay organized.

I love my new backpack!!! In1987 my grandmother bought me a purple deluxe backpack just this year it wore a hole in the strap and I knew it was time to retire it. I used that backpack continuously for 37 years it wasn't waterproof anymore and maybe a little bit faded but besides that it was totally fine! I am still using it on weekends. And use my new one for school thank you for making such quality products!!!

I had LL Bean bags when I was younger, so when my 2nd grader needed a more substantial backpack, I found this old reliable model. Many pockets and compartments, lightweight, and available in fun colors. This is much like the backpack I remember, and glad my kiddo has a well made backpack.
