I bought llbean backpacks for my children when they were growing up and now this is the second one I have purchased for my young grandchildren. It is a great "first" backpack for a pre-k or kindergartener. It is big enough to hold a lunchbox, change of clothes, water bottle, ect It is durable, easy to wash, and lasts for years even with daily use! A timeless quality backpack that is a must have for school!

This pack came quickly and seems sturdy yet comfortable for my 5 year old. Hoping to get a lot of life out of it!

I bought this backpack as a diaper bag when my son was about 2 months ago. He is still carrying in and he just completed Kindergarten. The only reason why we have to buy another is because he needs a bigger one for next year.

Well made and so cute. Perfect size for my 2 year old that is starting preschool this September. Not too big and not too small. Love it.

These bags are tough and last a long time. I have never been disappointed with them.

This is a great backpack for kids. My 3 year old picked it out and loves to be able to carry all his own stuff in it. It's not as small as other toddler bags but not as big as an adult size bag so he can easily carry it, and he looks so darn cute!

We love this bag. We have 2 of them for each of my kids. They love it. Very comfortable to wear it! It is the right size for camp days or school or gymnastics. We use it for everything! It is smaller than a regular backpack but bigger than a toddler backpack so it is perfect for my 4 and 6 years old. The colors are bright! I love that you can put the name on it. We put last names only! The water bottle pocket is great size it can for even a 24 oz bottle. It's elastic so you can put smaller bottler too it won't fall out.

For a 2 yr. old and he loves it, big brother has his LL Bean bag, 2 yr. old tried to wear it and Auntie thought she should get little guy one, only much smaller.

My 3yr old loves his "Packpack". He wants to be just like his big brother. This is the perfect size for PreK- lower elementary. Makes for a great gift too!

5 year old boy loves his new adventure pack. Pockets are great, water bottle holder super convenient.

I ordered LLBeans tried and true backpack after my son's preschool character backpack & lunchbox fell apart part way through school (all the zippers broke). I've previously ordered backpacks through LLBean and they always hold up. I wish they had better prints besides alligators or sharks. I don't care for the shade blue (cobalt) but my son likes it. This particular backpack is big enough to hold his folder and the lunchbox from LLBean with some room to spare. I like the extra front pockets to store some masks. Other than that since he's in preschool he doesn't really utilize it's full potential. The side pocket also fits LLBeans camelback water bottle. I would buy again and would recommend to a friend.
