Perfect size for a kindergarten student. It isn't so big that he is overwhelmed. But, it will hold a folder, library book, change of clothes in a gallon ziploc, and a bento box inside a small insulated lunch bag. He likes it because his big brother has the next size up and he wants to be just like him! I like it because it will hold up to the beating I'm sure he will put it through!

The jr book bag was purchased for my son when he started pre-k 14 years ago. We still have it. I brought my grandson one, since he is starting pre-k this year. It fits him perfect.

It's just what you'd expect. I got this for my first grader.

I love this bag for my boy. It looks good, feels sturdy, and isn't too large (which is a problem with most small kids backpacks). And it's pouch is big enough for a lunch box and folder (which is all kindergartners here get). I'm very happy with this choice. We'll wear this out and then move up to the bigger size when he's older.

It's a classic. This is rhe second one I bought for my grandson. I'm been buying these for years!!!!

This is a great size for Kindergarten. The pink is a hot pink, and the Platinum they recommend for personalization matches the grey trim on this backpack. A kid Contigo water bottle fits perfectly in the side water bottle holder. Also, I bought the matching lunchbox and it fits perfectly with her daily folder and room for other stuff. I wish the pink was darker so the west and tear wouldn't be so noticeable, but I love the bag. It's perfect.

Got this for my son who is starting pre-school. It's the perfect size for holding his lunchbox and water bottle and a few school papers.

Worth every penny... perfect size for my kindergartner, durable and comfortable for him. Straps are stiff when you first get it but after using it for a few weeks much more flexible.

My son is in Kindergarten this year and he loves his backpack. It is the perfect size for him. The quality is still the same as what I had back in the 1990's!
