I bought this for my daughter when she was going into Kindergarten. She just finished 1st grade and the backpack is still in great condition and we all know how rough these kiddos can be on their stuff. Perfect size for her school materials and water bottle. Planning on using it for 2nd grade as well. I'll be back for the bigger size as she gets older.

My child is obsessed with this bag. He's five but on the smaller size (zero percentile), so 14" shorter than buddies his age. This bag fits him perfectly and he absolutely loves the red, which is the color of the boy's school he's attending next year!

When I need a special, useful baby gift for the baby that probably doesn't need a thing...I love to give this JR backpack, monogrammed, of course. The parents usually love it, and the backpack is something that will be used often for years.

I purchased this for my toddler to carry things to daycare. It is roomy enough for clothing and needed items but small enough for my toddler to proudly run around the house with it on her back. She is too young to carry it when full but she will have it as she grows. Color is great. It is well made . Small pockets are handy. Love this backpack.

Good choice between a drawstring bag and a hiking pack

We've been buying these for each grandchild as he or she heads out for the first school experience--from Pre-K up. They last "forever" and hold up extremely well, in addition to being made in a variety of colors and patterns that give each child a choice of what he/she likes.

Jr. backpack. The kid is almost three. He can recognize his bane. The back gas quality and durability. I have given them for years.

Great back pack for an adult if you want a smaller size! I use it like a shoulder-strap purse to accommodate for the child-size straps. Same great features and durability as the standard size backpacks. As always, I knew LLBEAN would have just what I need. GO LLBEAN!!!

Was sent to a child in Israel. Who was very happy to receive it. I only wish you could monogram in other languages. It would have made it more special.

I bought two of these backpacks for my twin 3 year old granddaughters . They are a little big but they will grow into them . I wanted something that was going to last at least a school lifetime for them . I've had two myself. And I know how well they will hold up.

Perfect new backpack for a kindergartener. Just the right size for a folder and a few other odds and ends without being overwhelming in size. Love the monogram option since half the kids at school have similar style backpacks.

Great back pack! A perfect size for my 6 year old. The color is beautiful and great quality.

Simple & classic. He can put it on himself and open/close. He rides his bike to school with this backpack and it holds his lunch box and a few there items.

The backpack is of great quality. There are many design and color options. Water bottle fits nicely, and a standard size folder and lunch bag fit in it as well.
