I purchased this for my 3 year old headed to preschool. I purchased one for my now 5 year old when he was 3 and it has lasted great! Perfect to fit folders, lunchbox, and a change of clothes. My son takes a beach towel to school for naptime and when he does, his lunch box does not fit in as well. This is a great purchase!

My 4 year loves it for Pre-K. Well made and plenty of fun storage. The pink color is bright and fun. Today is the first day of school, so I don't know how easy it cleans or how well it holds up.

I purchased this bag for myself. I just wanted a smaller backpack. The hot pink is great and the bag seems very well thought out and constructed. However, the straps and construction won't work for an adult. The straps are just so small. As stated all over- this would be ideal for a younger school aged kid. I'm returning and ordering the classic book bag size.

This book bag is worth the money! It is so sturdy and so well made. It is quality. I have 2 of them and I am ordering another one. All 3 of my children will have one now. These book bags are a legacy item. You need them.

I came online today to do some shopping, and I was amused by the video that appeared - a child dragging a Bean backpack through gravel, jamming into a locker. I thought it may be time to share my daughters experience with a cute little LLB Junior backpack she has had since preschool. The bag was used heavily for many years until it became too small to hold all the stuff an elementary student hauls around. At that point, it became an overnight bag, gymnastics bag, dance class bag, weekend travel bag, and was still regularly used for many years. This summer, my high school graduate is a camp counselor and this is her bag of choice to carry the few items she needs each day. It no longer looks new but it's structurally sound and still looks good. These backpacks are made to stand the test of time. They seem near indestructible, reasonably comfortable, and their value over time can't be beat!

I wanted something smaller that I could use as a tourist to carry my guidebook, sweater, water bottle, snacks and various odds and ends, and this "junior" backpack is the perfect size. Really appreciate the front pockets that keep all my smaller items like tissue packs and chargers organized. And a stranger complimented me on the beautiful bright pink color :)

I always wanted one of these backpacks growing up so I got one for me son. It is absolutely perfect for my 4 year old. It is a great size and great quality bag. He loves that it is his favorite color and is personalized with his initials. I can see him getting use out of it for many years to come.
