I LOVE it. I'm so happy I bought it in April because the weather has been so awful that I have worn it constantly.

The color is awesome .... the fit is great and it is warm ....

I am very petite and ordered the coat in mountain blue, XXS-P and it fits perfectly. It is roomy enough for layering a sweater underneath, without being baggy. I also love the color and that the coat is super lightweight and thin. It is a very vibrant pretty blue. The coat kept me warm at temperatures in the 40's (with just a long sleeve T-shirt underneath). It's also windproof (tested walking on the beach in Maine on a blustery cool day)and kept me dry in light rain. I am very happy with my purchase and can highly recommend this coat if you are looking for something for fall or early spring, as well as for milder winter climates.

I love this jacket! It's perfect for traveling as it packs up into a small pouch, but I've been using it for everyday wear. The chili pepper red is bright and such a warm and cheerful color. I normally wear a medium, but having puchased outerwear from L.L.Bean before, I knew the small would be a better fit.

Love this PimaLoft Packaway Jacket! It is light as a feather, yet warm enough for 35 degrees without layering. I was lucky enough to get the gray with yellow zippers, very smart looking. Ordered a large to have a little room for a layer if I needed one, and to be able to stuff the pockets on a road trip. And I love the roomy pockets too. It's a little pricey, but as a birthday present to myself, I'm worth it! Enjoy this one!

I purchased this jacket last Fall for a trip because it was light, lovely color and packable. After my trip this has been my go to jacket consistently! I love it. It washes beautifully, attractive, I love it. Now to shop for a different color!

I love this jacket. It is light weight and comfortable. I've worn it with a short sleeve t-shirt underneath and also with a sweatshirt underneath. When it is really cold, I wear it under my TEK O2 3L Storm Jacket. Perfect!

What a relief to shed my heavy, thick winter jacket for this light, warm one! I love the pockets!! it fits snug on the hips, but is able to ride up enough when I sit so there's no stress on the zipper (a two-way zipper would be nice, especially when driving or sitting). I get lots of compliments and love the teal color. Thinking of getting another jacket in a different color.

I've been looking for a red quilted jacket for some time, and ll bean made it just right. Long enough to cover butt and sleeves are long enough, too. Flares at the bottom to fit the female form. Zips up high enough to keep the wind off my neck. Light but warm, and the color is bright and distinctive. I am extremely happy with it.

This is my new favorite jacket, it is really comfy, lightweight, yet warm, and I love the blue! It's more a blue teal, depending upon the lighting. I look forward to packing this on my next vacation as we usually only carry a carry on bag and I think it will pack up very flat and it's lightweight. Need I say more, I love it!

I actually bought men's version in black for my husband, and I fell in love with it because it is light weight, but especially the chest pocket feature. Great to tuck credit card or cash! Needless to say, he is wearing a different coat now, LOL! As much as I love it the sleeves are a little long and the hips a little tight, so I request a plus size in the women's style and colors would be fantastic!

I ordered this jacket in black. I was looking for a light weight, warm and water repellent jacket I could easily pack and take on trips. This was perfect. At first I thought it wouldn't be warm enough for our cold and rainy winter in NC, but I needn't have worried. It kept me warm in 35 degree rainy dog walks.

This coat is perfect for early Spring weather yet warm enough for those last few Maine snow storms of the season! I love how it is light weight and yet warm. Great for driving and shopping-not too hot-just right. Love it!

I bought it for the 4 zipped pockets, and they are roomy and hold what I need to take along. I ordered a second of these jackets right away. The jacket itself is roomy. For me, that adds to the appeal - it allows me to use the pockets easily.

I normally wear Petite, and orginally thought I ordered the petite, but accidentally ordered the XS regular. However, love the fit. It is very flattering, yet roomy enough to wear a heavy sweater underneath. Bought it primarily for traveling, and it folds up perfectly even in a backpack with room to spare! It is not as warm as my full down coat, but with a heavy sweater underneath, it was warm enough, and perfect for my travel needs.

I bought this coat for its packability. I love the length (falls at hips) and it is surprisingly warm. Incredible really because it has no bulk.

Love this jacket! Fits great, flattering, light, stuffable, warm with layers underneath, and no little feathers popping through. I'd buy it again!

I was skeptical that this would keep me warm considering how light it is. We just got back from a trip to South Dakota and temps were in the low 20s. I was warm & comfortable with this jacket. Love the color too. Beautiful blue.

I wanted something lightweight that would keep me warm - my daughter said "we are going to LLBean" - the jacket is perfect for cold winter days and yet light enough to not feel bulky. I would buy this jacket again and again!

Love this jacket. It is loose enough where I can layer and it doesn't feel bulky. Even when worn without layers, it still feels comfortable. LLBean never disappoints!

This is my second LLB coat purchase, the first being a "true" winter coat. This Packaway Jacket is the perfect warmth level for all but the coldest of days in NC. I barely notice the extra weight.

This jacket is perfect for travel. It is surprisingly warm for being so lightweight. As temperatures near freezing, I can layer it under another jacket. I ordered the blue. A lovely color.

Great coat for the winter and especially in the snow and rain. Love the light weight of the coat and it is so warm.
