Great featherweight jacket for early fall or late spring if worn alone. Especially useful for layering, it has almost endless combinations. Does not add bulk. Definitely a staple for those who live in cooler temps.

This is my go to jacket for Spring and Fall . I purchased it in December of 2019. Now that fall has arrived in Chicago I get to enjoy it again. it is wonderfully made. I wanted a jacket other than a zipped sweatshirt for the Spring and Fall and this jacket is perfect. Very professional looking on and light weight yet warm as advertised. I love the breast pocket is easy to use for my cell phone. Since I am short, I do prefer 2 way zippers as 2 way zippers make it more comfortable for driving and sitting. Thank you LL Bean.

I like my jackets a little large so I can wear something bulky under them if needed. This jacket is perfect for spring and fall - especially shopping. It is not bulky, but keeps me warm. I also own the bulkier/warmer L.L.Bean jackets for winter and appreciate this one being available for those slightly warmer days. Definitely a keeper.

Fits well; long enough to extend to mid-hip (I've found some Bean products a bit on the short side, but not this one). Temperature rating, at least for the "light activity" category is accurate--about 35F. Surprisingly adequate for light weight jacket--neither too warm nor too cool in a range of temps (mid 50F to mid 35F; not a "steambath" like down can create). Not sure if I'd try to wear it alone in a sub-zero blizzard, though--at least not without having another layer on hand. Could also fit under a heavier jacket, or over a fleece, if needed. Fits into its own pocket--travels well, smooshes up small, shakes out wrinkles, looks spiffy, could double as a pillow. Got the "blue green"--a bit greener than blue, but still a pleasing color to my mind. Outer fabric seems thin, as if it might snag, but no problems to date (have worn for half a season).

I have had a version of this jacket for several years, and it has held up very well. Truly my "go-to" jacket, great for traveling and everyday use in northern Illinois. Fine on its own on many days from fall through spring, and great with added layers when it is colder in the winter. When my old jacket was accidentally ripped in March 2020, I replaced it with the current model. This new version is great! Same light weight and comfortable construction, nice color (blue), and just a little bit longer than my old version. The internal pocket is new and much appreciated.

As I already had another jacket just like this one, I knew I was going to be getting a jacket that fit just right and was comfortable, kept me warm on cold days, and because it is packable, it was very easy to pack it when I was traveling. This is why I had to have another one in a different color.

I bought this jacket for a trip we were supposed to take to Ireland this month that was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. I bought a Petite Medium in black and it fits perfectly. As always, LL Bean's service was fantastic!!

I read other reviews prior to purchasing this jacket and am pleased with this purchase. I am pleasantly surprised at how lightweight it is yet still warm and wind resistant. I purchased the navy which really isn't navy. The color is closer to a Prussian blue. It's still a nice color--just not navy. I don't mind a chilly day as long as I'm warm and this jacket kept me warmer than expected. On one really windy day I added a vest and stayed toasty warm in weather of about 5 degrees.

I just received my jacket. I bought a medium regular. I love it! It does fit snug around the rib cage so I will not be wearing thicker layers under this. I would suggest ordering a size larger if you do want to wear a thicker sweater or hoodie under it.

I have decided i love this jacket. I walk my 3 dogs daily and this jacket keeps me warm in weather 30-50 degrees and knocks down the wind.
I purchased a large so i could layer a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. It's roomy and covers my butt which is great!
Super lightweight jacket and the blue/green is a great color!

This jacket fit me perfectly. Generally, unless a jacket comes in a "tall" size, sleeves are too short for me, but these sleeves are long enough! I got this as a required item type for a guided rim to rim hike of Grand Canyon coming up September 2020. It's a great layering piece that can go over a base layer to provide good warmth. It is water repellant and, in soaking rain, it's low bulk enough that my breathable rain shell fits nicely over it for a truly waterproof, warm ensemble. It's been perfect over a t-shirt for our Florida "cold", but is not sufficient by itself for more serious type cold weather. Even if pretty cold in the Canyon - I think it will be perfect while hiking/active. I'm very pleased with how lightweight and compressible it is - as it will add very little weight to my backpack for the warmer stretches of my Grand Canyon adventure and other hikes! Sorta pricey so waited til 20% off sale. Thanks for these nice sales and this beautiful jacket LL Bean! The two tone blue is very pretty and a bit unique without being odd.

Absolutely love the fit and feel of this jacket. It's perfect for those mildly cold days we get down south, and looks good dressed up or down. Highly recommend!

I purchased this to take in a trip and boy was I happy with it. The fit was perfect even with 2 shirts (one if them an LLBean Rugby Shirt) underneath it. It kept me warm and comfy and I love the style and being able to "pack it away" and not take up a lot of room in my carry on bag. I believe this is my "new" favorite jacket!!

I've gotten a lot of compliments on this jacket! I love how light it is, and yet it's super warm! I wore a sweater underneath to shovel snow one day and got hot! I also love the fit.

I ordered a size up for a little extra room for layers, and because it has some shape to it, the fit is still attractive. It was a versatile piece for a trip to Tucson in January and still travel light. I kept it tucked in my daypack for peaks or shady rest stops on the trail and stayed warm in it on those cold desert nights. I love the juniper color.

This jacket is warm and light as air. With a scarf, it 's good protection from the cold (Yes, it gets cold at night in AZ!). I love the olive color and contrasting aqua trim. It has a flattering cut and always looks trim, never bulky. I'm very pleased.
