Very warm and good pockets n hood. I wish it had snaps too instead of always having g to zip it

I am 5' 3", 136 lbs., and I bought the small. Fits great and I can where a warm sweatshirt under it, no problem. It was an item, that I put on, and loved it right away. No guess work here. On cold winter days, it is all about being snuggly and warm, and able to take walks if you choose to. Great Coat.

The sherpa lined down coat is very nice - its super light weight and the primaloft makes the hood very cozy. The zippers on the sides are vented so they give you room to walk if you don't want to use the 2 way zipper in front. I sent it back because it was too warm for me. I'm probably the only person in the world who can't wear down because its too warm. I have to stick with the manufactured insulation.

I love my coat! As seen online, It's so warm it doesn't let a smidge of cold air in. Per reviews, I ordered a size down & it fits perfectly!

I love this coat! I love that it has warmth around the arms and chest. The only thing I would change would potentially be some sort of internal draw string below the breast line just to give some more shape.

Purchased this jacket as a gift for my wife- she absolutely loves it! She's been wearing it almost nonstop since she got it. My wife is usually a size XS and I am usually a size M and I was able to fit in the jacket when I tried it on. For a size XS, she has extra room for a hoodie or scarf underneath but according to her, you don't really need anything. We live in Upstate NY for reference of temperature.

Love the length and big pockets. When weather was -20 it kept me fairly warm. I'm 6 foot 7 and it goes past my knees a bit. It's a lot of coat but not cumbersome.

The coat fit true to size and is extremely warm and cozy, especially the lined hood. The zip pockets on the side of the larger pockets are a nice touch. I'm not a huge fan of the look of the large exterior pockets. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this coat.

I'm always cold but never when I wear this coat!! It's the warmest coat I've ever owned. I also get a ton of compliments whenever I wear it .

I love this coat. It's perfect for our ND winters. I am 5'1" and it hits me about 2 " beneath my knees. The sherpa lining in the hood gaurantees my head will never get cold. Heavy duty zippers and very well made.. I couldn't be happier with it.

Soft and cuddly inside that keeps you warm all over. I have been outside in single digits with strong winds and was comfortable.

This jacket is incredibly warm and I can't stop recommending it! I bought and returned 3 other jackets from LLBean because they weren't warm enough. The inner sherpa lining makes a huge difference. This jacket is worth it. I usually wear a Medium in jackets but the Small fits me perfectly.

Love this coat. It's freezing here in Minnesota and this has kept me very warm with just a long sleeve underneath. I love the two way zipper, soft inside & the pockets are big. I'm 5'1, and the xxs fits great.

Bought this coat as a gift for our daughter who is always cold. She has a long walk from her parking spot to her work location. She said the coat is so comfortable and warm, and loves the roomy pockets. Says she gets lots of compliments on the coat.

I decided to wear the coat for a full winter season last year before commenting so I could provide a tested review and I can definitely say that this is a great winter coat!! It is very well designed and constructed, following LL Bean's high standards. I tend to be on the cold side in the winter and it kept me very nicely warm. I especially like the Sherpa lining that provides extra warmth and also coziness. When the zipper is pulled all the way up, it goes over my chin and the substantial hood comes forward a bit, providing great coverage around my head. Additionally, I appreciated the cord to tighten the hood even further on particularly windy days when I when out for a walk. The zipper is of good quality and always worked smoothly. The inner flap behind the zipper provided additional protection from the wind. The zipper operates both ways, which is a nice feature if you need to open it when sitting down. Side zippers also help with that, although I personally never needed to use the side zippers. The coat allowed me a good stride when walking while also providing sufficient coverage around my legs for warmth. The style of cuffs on the sleeves is good, trapping in the warmth. It's great having two sets of pockets: one set you enter from the side of the pocket and has zippers to close them, and the other set you enter from the top of the pocket and has a flap over them for protection that can be snapped into place. The one very minor issue I had is that the flap pilled over the course of the season, but that's more of a cosmetic issue and was easily cleaned up with a fabric shaver. Although the coat provides a great deal of warmth, it isn't overly bulky, so moving around and getting in and out of cars was easy. It's also a good length. I have long legs and it just about covers my knees. My coat got a LOT of use last winter and already some this winter and it's still in great shape and keeps me really warm. It's held up very well and I look forward to wearing it for many more winters to come!

You can wear a comfy sweater with it. Though it's a long jacket . It has side zippers that you can open to sit with ease

This coat is worth every penny. I stayed warm and cozy outside in single digit temps and wind chill of -15. Do yourself a favor and buy this coat!
