Ran large. Outer material and fill felt thin. I returned it.

This is very box shaped. There isn't a way to cinch this in at the waist. I am normally an XL but I feel like I am swimming in this. It's unfortunately not flattering so I am going to return.

I returned this item because the coat was much thinner than I thought it would be. I was looking for a thicker warmer coat.

The jacket started to pill feathers within a month of wear. Outer shell is very thin and not recommend for rugged or outdoor activities.

This was huge - and I just had a baby so the whole reason I ordered it was to have a larger jacket! I would have ordered a smaller size but I could tell the sleeves would be too short if I did that.

Seemed incredibly warm but way too big and it arrived dirty with stains on the fur lining/hood. Sadly I returned it & will not be buying again

I was really excited about this coat, and it's cute and super warm, but this is just way too big. I usually wear a women's S or M, but after reading reviews I went with X-Small. The X-Small was HUGE, like it was made for a taller and bigger person than me. It made me look super heavy with a spare tire, more than your average puffy coat. The sleeves were too long and the armholes/shoulders were too big as well! I'm assuming they've mislabeled sizes for this coat. Sadly I'm returning this.

Runs very large. Too bulky. It made me look like a big black blob of coat. Cumbersome. Hood very large & if pulled snugly, covered half my face. I had a size medium. I'm 5'5", 139 lbs. I'd had a Baxter State Parks for years & it was great, but wanted a different style this year. This coat just wasn't for me. I returned it the next day.

I initially wrote a review with 5 stars stating how amazing this coat is. Its the warmest coat I have owned, but I'm glad the review did not go through because after 3 months of having this coat 2 tears formed on the sleeve when I got in my car this morning. I didn't realize until I got to work that there was feathers and stuffing all over my arm rest. When I couldn't figure out why there was white fluffies all inside my car I lifted my arm to see two slashes that formed on the sleeve. What the heck!! After 3 months this coat is falling apart? What kind of lightweight material is used on these? I'm super disappointed in the quality of this coat for the price. This is the 2nd winter coat I have bought from LL Bean with a defect. The first coat the zipper broke after a few months, now this one easily tears if it hits something. I would think for the cost of the coat despite its toasty warm interior that the exterior would be made with high quality. So upset!!! This was my winter coat for this season!!! Ugh!

I really loved this jacket, but unfortunately had it less than a week before it was damaged in a concerning way. I brushed up against a heater while wearing it and the jacket set on fire. Thankfully I wasn't injured, but it was alarming. I contacted LL Bean customer service hoping for some support and was disappointed they wouldn't do anything. I expected better given their reputation. Just a heads-up to be extremely cautious wearing this near heaters or campfires.

This jacket I was in love with it. It is warm, great length. When it came down to washing it, it stated in the Fabric and Care sections that it is machine washable and dry. I was excited that I could wash it at home. After wearing the jacket for a few weeks, I wanted to wash it. I washed the coat, by itself, delicate cycle. The feathers were all mangled. I thought that the dryer would take care of that. NOPE. The dryer had feathers in the lint trap and it was still wet after a drying cycle. The feathers still in a ball. It also stated in the coat directions to NOT DRY CLEAN it. So I am very upset- over 200 dollars spent, down the tubes. Don't buy it if you plan on washing it.

I ordered the size recommended-medium. It fit in the shoulders but there was so much room in the waist I would fit another person in it. Definitely seemed mismade. Don't waste your time with this one. Also the Sherpa liner felt nice, but for $200 I would expect this coat to be warmer. It had a very small down fill. So if you tend to run on the warm side this coat might do you ok, but I was looking for a warm coat. I will be returning this. I don't even think sizing down would help.

I saw someone wearing this at a store. Took a mental image and jumped online to LLBean to order it because it was so cute in person. I won't even bother because it doesn't come in petite. Based on reviews of petite shoppers it's a no go. To bad LLBean!!!

Based on other reviews, I sized down. I'm 5'7 200 lbs with a large chest. I got a large instead of my regular xl. It fit good, but I wouldn't be able to wear a sweatshirt underneath, the arms had no extra room but the body did.
The material feels super cheap, and the end of the sleeves / wrist area is horrible. There's no shape to the jacket so it's definitely like wearing a sack. It does feel like it would be super warm, but for $220 I expect a higher quality material.
