I LOVE the Mountain Classic Down, Sherpa-Lined coat!! I live in the Mid-South, and we were expecting a frigid week with temperatures we rarely get here during the winters (single digits with below zero wind chills). This morning it was 12F with a wind chill of -2F when I went to walk my dog, and this coat kept me totally warm. I was concerned about the sleeve length as I am 5'10" and the sleeves are sometimes too short. The sleeves on this coat are plenty long for my long arms! I am 5'10" and weigh 153 lbs. I ordered the Medium, and the fit is perfect for what I wanted. I am still able to put layers on underneath and zip up fully. I like that the hat stays on even in windy conditions. The sherpa is in the top half of the jacket and hat, and I found that it was more than adequate. We will be getting colder the next couple of days, and the frigid weather will be hanging around for 10 days. I am so happy to have found the perfect coat. I love the length, too. It really helps to stay warm on super cold days.

Had to get a new winter coat and I usually stick with LL Bean for my winter gear. This jacket does not disappoint. I went into the store to try and several different ones. They were all great but I settled on this one. It is unbelievably comfortable and soft. The Sherpa lining is a huge factor in that. Sleeves are nice and cuffed around wrists and plenty of deep pocket space compared to by last 3/4 length LL Bean jacket. Yes it is boxy and looser at the bottom but that in no way hindered me from purchasing. I wore it out of the store in 5 degree weather, and was happy at how comfortable I felt. LOVE!!!

Love this coat. Size runs a little large and I could have worn a small instead of medium which was recommended. Keeps me warm and dry on cold and wet days when walking the dog or running errands.

This coat is warm, yes. But it is also so SOFT unlike some other warm coats, fit is perfect, LOVE it!

Purchase black last year. Currently awaiting backorder for blue. Im 5'11, 240 lbs and chose XL. No heavy, bulky sweater necessary. "Sometimes" I've worn a basic cardigan probably over a tshirt or similar. Inside pocket for what? There's 4 pockets of which 2 can double snap. Other 2 are hand slits. Anything else requires a pocketbook-HELLO. Perfect sleeves- long & tight. Double zip for easy driving mode. Warm sherpa hood with draw cord. Machine wash, inside out, permanent press cycle, hang dry, shake & wear. Water repellent in case you're caught in the rain or snow (speaking from experience).

Great fit, warm. Has room to layer. I like the olive green color and the Sherpa lining is soft. I'm using it for sitting on bleachers at games and it's perfect.

I have recess duty every morning and the past 2 morning have been in the 20s. For what feels like the first time ever- I'm actually warm!! Warm and cozy. And I've received lots of compliments already! This coat is worth every penny! :)

I purchased this coat for my great granddaughter and she is very happy with it. The fit is good and it is very warm.

I got this to replace my other "dog walking coat" from LLBean purchased about 11 years ago. Love the zipper placement. I'm about 5'3" and 125 pounds and got the small. I think if I were going for more of a fashionable fit I would have gotten an XS, but a small fits perfects since I like lots of layers for early and late night winter walks In Massachusetts. It's very warm and cozy. Highly recommended.
