Received this as a Christmas Gift from my husband. I love it! Worn it twice in the wind and 20 Degree weather to walk the dog and was nice and warm. It's so lite and it's like wearing a cloud. Came back to order another color and they are sold out. Love the Kelp color. Perfect size.

I live near the ocean and it can get quite windy in the winter. Add this to lower temperatures and I'm sure you understand what it can be like. I have worn this coat on a 22 F degree day with a windy of 20pmh. NOTHING was getting through this coat. I walk one of my dogs down here frequently. We are able to take nice long walks despite the temperatures and wind. This has great deep outside pockets and side pockets as well. The best is when you get in the car, there are zippers on each side that open to give you a little extra room when you are sitting in the car. You definitely hit this one out of the park LL Bean. Love this coat. Very warm and comfortable. Great for walking the dog in the winter. Ran true to size. Built in hood very convenient and comfortable. Side zips are great to have but I rarely need them. Four large pockets

After taking a lot of time to research the best options and having worn the coat multiple times in the lowest of temperatures - single digits, I am very pleased with my selection. The coat is very warm even with the recent biting winds. The sherpa makes for a cozy fit, but note it is only in the hood and upper torso area. I also like the elasticized wrist feature as it keeps the wind out and my hands warm. The 2 double large side pockets (top and side openings) are a great feature. An interior pocket would have been a nice complement but not truly necessary. The zipper appears very sturdy and can open at the bottom for a more comfortable car ride. The overall fit is great, and the coat is roomy enough to add an additional layer if necessary.

I ordered this coat in blue for my daughter who is away at school, and walking back-and-forth between buildings. It is super cozy and warm, but lightweight enough not to be bulky and heavy. Very pleased with it.

This coat is a perfect blend of warmth, comfort, and functionality. The down fill makes the coat very warm, while the sherpa gives a cozy feeling. The two sets of pockets allow me to store my hat and gloves in the coat without getting in the way of my hands. The side zippers allow for extra room when sitting. Overall, wonderful coat!

Bought my wife this coat and using the fitting guide on the website the coat was a perfect fit. Its already been a cold winter in mass and the coat has out preformed expectations. My wife is happy and you know what they say happy wife happy life.

This coat is wonderful! The pockets are great for wallet or phone, snap shut and then you still have a pocket for your hands. I have gotten so many compliments since I purchase and tell them go to LL Bean!

Wore this home from the store with a cashmere sweater and a very heavy wool Andersen-Andersen sweater. Soft and cozy and wasn't too hot in the car. Feels like I'm wrapped in a cozy sleeping bag and looks fine. I tried about twenty coats and this was the softest and warmest. Bought it as an easy warm coat to grab for taking walks outside. The green color is nice and the Sherpa fleece in the hood is incredibly soft. The 650 down is very temp moderating and ended up being the winning factor when looking at another coat in the same price range. Sized up to M to fit my sweater comfortably. Fits fine without. I'm 5'6" and 160.

I bought it two sizes bigger. So, when I'm driving on cold mornings, my arms are super comfortable. I'm glad I didn't sacrifice comfort for looks.

This coat is lightweight and extremely comfortable. I'm cold natured so it's not warm enough for a 20 degree day but warm enough for the majority of winter days. I love clothing that is thoughtfully designed and this fits the bill.

I decided to replace my cheap puffer with something nicer that I could use long-term. I live in the Midwest and it can get quite cold. Things I love about this coat: it's warm, the hood fits really nicely, zippers at the hips, large front pockets as well as side pockets, and it's got a little more style to it than just an every day puffer parka. Is it the most flattering? No, it's a puffer coat. I care more about being warm that how I look in it. Size wise - I am 5'5" and 170 lbs. This comes right to my knees. I tried a M and a L as reviews mentioned it ran big. I stuck with my true to size Large as I felt the Medium was too tight around my middle and restricted my arms a bit.

Warm and comfy. Not bulky. Fits very well. Happy with my purchase.
