I live in Buffalo NY and this is the warmest coat I can remember. Normally I wear a hoodie under my coats to stay warm but with this coat it's not necessary. It's absolutely wonderful

Very warm and cozy like wearing a comfy sleeping bag! I like the navy blue color. Xxs regular is still a little roomy on me! But fine for layering clothing underneath.

I love, love, love this jacket. I reordered a size down after I noticed they offered additional sizes. It's warm, almost entirely wind proof, and the length keeps you warmer than a jacket that ends at the hips. Nice quality for sure! I get compliments on this jacket from other moms all the time. Also, the large pockets- amazing! Do you know how many toddler snacks I can keep on them and then go for a long walk or playground adventure without any backpack? Amazing!

I love this coat, the warmth of it and the comfort is amazing! Well worth the purchase!

I really like this jacket. It's exceptionally warm, stylish, and fits well. It was also cheaper than some other options. My only hesitation is that I got the green color and worry it might show stains over time.

Purchased this coat just in time for a cold snap, and it has kept me warm and cozy in single digit temps. I love the soft fleece lining of the hood and upper body, the gusseted side zippers at the hem, and the sleeve cuffs that keep out drafts. I ordered my usual size and there is room for a warm sweater underneath but not anything very bulky, so buyers might want to consider sizing up.

This is the best winter coat I have owned. I loved it so much I purchased it in two colors. It's a perfect length and warmth for the New England winter weather. It has side zippers if you need the width in a vehicle and the sherpa lining is soft, thin lined and attractive for detailing. I like extra room for sweaters so I purchased a large to allow that.

This is the warmest coat I've ever had without a lot of heaviness and bulk! The temps have been -10 here this week, and I have been super warm and toasty while walking my dog or shoveling the driveway! Highly recommend !

The coat arrived just in time for the deep freeze weather we're having, and I threw it on over a cotton t-shirt and some sweatpants to quickly test it out as I took my daughter to a play date. Even in subzero weather and with only a thin t-shirt on underneath, I felt very warm and protected from the elements. I can only imagine how well it will hold up with my base layer and sweater on underneath. The hood was also very warm and lovely. Even with all of my long hair up in a clip on top of my head, the hood covered everything and kept my whole head warm. I would definitely recommend this coat if you're looking for something to properly protect you from arctic conditions. The size chart was accurate for me, as well (5'8", 150lbs, women's regular small had plenty of room and hit just below my knees). If you're on the fence, I'd say to get it!

This winter coat is so warm and comfortable. The sherpa lining in the hood/chest is a nice touch. I appreciate that the sherpa lining does not extend into the sleeves as my arms slide smoothly into and out of the coat. The length is perfect and keeps my legs warm. There are plenty of pockets to store all my accessories. The two way zipper is a must for me. I am so happy i purchased this coat.

I took this coat on a European Christmas Vacation and it was absolutely perfect. Warm and cozy, not heavy, but rather lightweight and soft and comfy. The arms have a smooth lining, for easy on- and off. I was able to even layer a blazer underneath. If you need more arm room and bulky layers, you perhaps want to size up. I am 5'6' and 140lbs with muscular arms and the XS was fine. A little bit more arm room would be nice, but I didn't want the body of the coat to get too large. I used the coat as a pillow on the plane and I condensed it small enough to fit in my carry-on backpack when it was not needed. The Sherpa is very nice in the upper body and I like the regular smooth fabric and insulation in the lower body part and arms, where nothing will cling to it. The outer pockets are great. The large snap pockets accommodated my gloves and hat with no problems and are super convenient and a great size. They are perfect to put your hands into also. In addition there are good- sized, side zippered pockets. Just perfect! Generally I love inside breast pockets, but I am not sure how one could have been accommodated with the Sherpa inside, and this pocket - loving girl didn't miss it. It kept me plenty warm in cold temperatures, but I also didn't overheat in warmer situations. The side zips are also great and I used them a lot. It also has a two-way zipper which is very useful. The length is wonderful, you won't get a cold/ wet bottom sitting on a bench in the winter! I am so happy to have found a perfect winter travel coat and appreciated not to have to carry around a heavy, bulky coat. I bought the green, which is a very nice color, but I love all the colors offered! Love this coat! Thank you, LL Bean!

This coat is everything. So warm and amazing, you can stay comfortable in the toughest conditions. I love that it has multiple pockets that button and or zip, makes carrying keys, phone, chapstick a breeze. It's also super cute. I have navy and a friend has green and honestly you can't go wrong with any of the colors. I was looking for something to keep me warm and I found it. I hope and pray this lasts forever.

So squishy and warm with the down filling and sherpa lining. Feels like wearing a sleeping bag everywhere I go. Winters aren't so rough anymore.

Just received my coat so I'll probably post a follow-up after it gets me through January and February in Iowa, but I do like it. Things to know: if you're on the lower end of the size range, order a size down. The shearling on top makes it bulky above the waist so if you're looking for a flattering coat, this probably isn't the one for you. Extra points for the double zipper. We'll see how it holds up in the wind.

In southern Alabama we get 3 to 4 day episodes of freezing temperatures with icy wind-chills throughout our relatively short winters. I could never find a coat to keep me warm while walking my dog. I called LLBean and ask for their warmest coat and bought it. It is amazing! It has kept me toasty. It is the warmest coat ever! I love it!
