I absolutely love this jacket! It is super warm, blocks the wind but is incredibly lite and stuffs into that little pouch with ease. The perfect coat for traveling.

I purchased an XL / got it on sale: --> Primaloft Packaway Hooded Jacket Misses Regular, Bright Lapis
$179.00 to sale price of $89.99 ea. My opinion is it is worth $89, but not $179.
Size runs true. I layer and do not like tight clothes. Color is a favorite.
Light Wt. big plus, and Warm..but not overly warm. We do have 40-50 degree days in the mountains of San Diego.
I probably would not purchase a second. This one is great. But pricey at $179 for this.

I bought this coat to replace an earlier version which was in inch or so shorter. The new model is just enough longer to be warmer and cover dangling sweaters. I took it on a drive to Florida and wore it to start and end the trip. In the mean time it folded neatly into its own pocket and was easily stowed. Fit for me is perfect in Petite Large. I am 5'2" 145 lbs. I can easily wear a heavy sweater underneath, but it looks fine over just a shirt. I love the green color - feels like spring, wears like winter.

I wore this on the GA beach during a cold and windy day. It kept me warm.
I wore it when a sudden rainstorm drenched my dogs but NOT ME.
This is so light weight that I hardly know I have it on.
As far as length, I truly like the fact that it is long enough to keep me warm and to cover my expanding back side!!

The comfort is beyond any jacket I have had. I lived in it on a recent trip. It rained , it was windy but this jacket was just right. When I got home, I could walk to get the mail in snowy weather as well. Nice and warm. I love this jacket! My husband needs one.

I was looking for a new jacket for the cold weather that I could also wear for skiing and snowshoeing, this jacket fit the bill and then some. I was a bit skeptical given the lightweight of the jacket however it was warm and breathable. I have worn it on days that it is in the teens and the wind was blowing on the ski hill. It stopped the wind and kept me warm all day. I love this jacket!

Our family travels a lot so when I found these extremely lightweight, packable coats, I bought them. I love that they are super lightweight, yet they are warm in cold weather. I am kind of puzzled at how the coat stays warm because the material seems so thin. I purchased the red/pink color and it is a fun color. The sizing seemed a little bit big, but will be perfect if I have a large sweater underneath or if I layer. I would definitely recommend!

I live in northern MI and needed an "inbetween jacket", somthing for temps in the 30's and 40's. Perfect. Light weight and warm. Also, great for traveling as you can tuck the jacket in its own pocket/pouch. I'm 5'4" and weigh 125. An xsmall fit great over a sweater. The small was too big in the chest and body. Got the blue. Very pretty color.

This was a gift to a young lady who loves the silver color, the lightweight warmth, and fact that it doesn't make her look like a teddy bear......got her fiance the similar jacket in blue, also liked.

This jacket is so comfortable I am wearing it all the time, even inside when I am cold. It is so light, I cannot feel any extra weight. I am in Georgia, so I cannot attest to how it performs in really freezing temperatures, but I was warm and toasty during the recent cold spell down here

I love this jacket, I'm so glad I decided to give it a shot ordering online. The petite fits perfectly, I'm so glad LLBean makes XL petites as other stores stopped carrying them. I have a very small frame but carry some weight so finding something to fit is difficult. This is a great lightweight but warm still jacket. I'm looking forward to getting 3 seasons out of this!

I ordered two of these jackets during the 25% off sale. A black/small for my daughter who's a senior in high school and a medium/blue for me. The sizes are pretty true with a tighter slim look. My daughter is 5'8 and really liked the modern fit with the extra pockets and the fact that the jacket is not too short on her. Being a teenager she usually shys away from Bean jackets because of the bulk so this was definitely a win.
The blue color was not as shiny as I was expecting from the pictures which was a little disappointing. I'm 5'6/150lbs/37-38 upper and the medium fit great with a lightweight sweater/shirt underneath. If you you're looking to layer or wear sweatshirts /heavier sweaters, I would go up a size. I was out in 35 degree temps and it kept me warm with a light-weight shirt underneath so I feel like the technology/design is good. I would like to see more shine and colors!

Finally, tall sizes! Or at least Bean styles that fit tall gals. I'm a long 5'10,165# and the medium is a perfect fit, plus long enough overall and in the sleeves that I don't look like I'm wearing a size too small. I have past generations of these jackets - which I love - and am thrilled to add this to the mix. the Red Currant is vibrant and perfect for standing out on the streets during morning or dusky walks, or on the trail when hiking. Fit is just a bit bulky, but with ample room to move, pretty on its own and light enough to wear under a roomy rain parka. Love it!

Really pleased with the purchase of this jacket. It is great around town and packs up perfectly in its pocket to throw in a backpack when I need a warmer layer. It worked well on a xc trip when I needed some warmth. Fit is true to size. Colors are great and it has a slighter longer length to cover one's backside. It packs up neatly in the pocket as advertised. Really great, versatile jacket that will be good all year round.

This is the second Women's Primaloft Parkaway hooded Jacket I've purchased. Love both of them. I would say however if you are unsure of the size go up a size. The first I bought was a bit tight to wear a warm sweater underneath. If you are looking for a packable jacket for coolish weather this is great but it is not warm. I was hoping for something for a bit colder weather as an in-between season jacket since I live in the northern latitudes of Alaska.
I ordered the XS and S 115 lbs

I love this jacket. Lightweight but warm, versatile, comfortable. What would make it even better is a little more room in the hips so I wouldn't have to size up. My size Petite L looks big on me but at least it fits comfortably in the hips and I can layer. A double zipper would be helpful.

The jacket is comfortable and fits fine. I expected a slightly thicker lining. I'm not sure it will be warm enough in cool, windy wearther.

I love the jacket with the exception of how the sleeves and hood are finished with binding. It is not an inexpensive jacket, so I think there should be a nicer finish. The jacket washes well and the fit is good, with the exception that the sleeves seem long for a petite fit.

I love this jacket. I ordered a women's XL and it's a bit large on me, but better too large than too small. Well constructed. Lots of pockets. Great quality zippers. Love the color.
I only rated it 4 stars because this jacket is not as warm as I expected. I wore it over my layers during a windy, 40F temp day and was very cold while hiking. However, this jacket is perfect to wear in the 50F temp range.
