I bought this as a gift and was hesitant about the expense. It's worth every Penny! Beautiful jacket and my husband loves it!

I never thought, or wanted to replace my 30+ year old LLBean Mountain Guide Gore-Tex XCR jacket...but it happened when I purchased this Pathfinder Gore-Tex jacket. There is no doubt this is the best rain jacket, tested it by layering it with fleeces/down jackets underneath at 12,000 feet above timberline in the Colorado Rockcies at -30- degrees to the blistering cold to the bone northestern winds of the Atlantic, raining in a downpour/or raining sideways in a 6 hour hike and I am completely dry. Skiing/cross country skiing without sweating inside, breathes extremely well. Plenty of pockets, love the adjustable cuffs, hood, zippers under the arm pits to thermally ventilate, fits awesome with the tailored fit. Don't kid yourself with other so called rainproof materials, Gore-tex is the best rain proof material, how do I know it.....the US military uses it. Best looking jacket out there. You can spend less money for cheaper/alternative materials or you can buy something that will last over 30 years. Job well done LLBean.

It arrived, and is exactly as described. I'm a "person of lateral extent," and the XXL fits perfectly, thanks to the adjustable sleeve cuffs, despite the "slightly fitted" description.

Have not had a chance to use this jacket, but I am looking forward to wearing it. Easy layering and great zipper movement.

Beautiful jacket, runs slim. Great weather proof jacket. It does run slim. Fits my husband great as is but may be a bit snug if layers are worn underneath.

Lightweight, breathable and well constructed for active climbs in wind, damp and rain. Big hood for my helmet this winter. Trim fit so it's not boxy/baggy and in the way on the ascent, but has plenty of room for arm movement with a pack on your back and another layer on the descent. No powder skirt, but I wear a bib when it's deep so I won't miss it. As gear, it compares very well with Arc**** shells that are not in the same price range. Plus the orange color is awesome.

Bought the women's large first and it was too hourglass shaped in the waist so returned for the men's medium and am very happy with it. Wore it skiing with a wool sweater in early March, comfortable.

As advertised. The material is rather noisy. I miss the former snapped flap over the zipper of former jacket and the simple hood adjustment.

I typically wear a size 42 dress coat. I initially purchased a size medium in this jacket but it was snug across the shoulder. Ok with just a T-shirt but restricted movement when wear a long sleeve shirt. The large is perfect and allows ample room for movement. Very nice well constructed jacket. Should last many years.

I bought this to replace my Marmot rain jacket I purchased several years ago that began to flake on the inside and lose its waterproofing. The material of this raincoat is extremely durable and well-made. I've worn it in severe rain storms and as an outer shell in cold weather with a down jacket underneath. If this product were available when I bought my last jacket I'm certain I would still be using it, I imagine this is going to last me many years to come. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This jacket is of high quality and function. The zippers, outer and inner fabric, velcro sleeve tabs, and pulls are solid. I appreciate the many pockets: 2 hand pockets, chest pocket, inner zip pocket, and inner stash pocket...very nice. Each pit zip zipper has 2 pulls so you can dial in the ventilation. The length of the jacket helps keep your butt dry. This is a solid 3-layer rain jacket that keeps me dry, and I expect will last a long time. My wife says it looks good too.

After and hour and half walk in a heavy rain, I was dry as toast - from the waist up. Arm pit vents kept me reasonably cool. Looks to be a high quality, well constructed garment. Highly recommend!

I purchased this jacket for my husband who never wants to buy anything for himself. He is a big fan of layers and wanted a lighter jacket. It seems like this did the trick. It fits him well and is a very light outer layer.
