My second purchase on one of these! Lightweight and super warm. Great fit and great colors. My son wants one now.

This jacket is comfortable in a range of temperatures. Lightweight not bulky. When it's cold and windy pull up the hood and you are snug as a bug in a rug. A hat under the hood makes the fit perfect. I bass fish and travel on the water in my boat at 70 mph. This jacket makes the trip comfortable. I highly recommend this jacket.

I bought this for my husband. He is very happy with it. Fit is very good and coat is very light and warm. We live in Syracuse area and our winters are harsh and he feels this coat will serve him well on all but the coldest, windiest days.

Excellent fabric, down, & workmanship. Worth every penny. Unless you enjoy spending a lot of extra money, just to have a certain logo on your clothing, by this jacket instead. I have only worn this with temps in the low 40's, but I could tell it's going to be warm. Packs down tiny, re-fluffs quickly. Weighs next to nothing, has a fairly functional hood ( Helmet compatible) cinches down well. Nice pockets, will need to stay out of rain with this one though. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Great jacket, navy carbon great color, but WHY THE RED STRIPES? The woman's version was done with a lighter shade of blue stripes which look terrific. The men's version should have been done the same as the woman's. Huge mistake by somebody IMHO.

This was a present for someone who professed not to like anything like down. Surprise: he really liked how light it felt on him.

I bought this jacket for my husband after his $40.00 down jacket from a warehouse store wore out. He loved that jacket, but since it was beyond repair I decided he would enjoy a nicer jacket from Llbean. Our first purchase was a large and while it fit him with a t shirt underneath it was a little tight with anything heavier. I returned that jacket and went with an xtra large. Seems pretty close to perfect. This jacket has an inside pocket and an upper breast pocket plus the side pockets which is a plus. We ordered the blue which is very pretty. He has not had a chance to wear it yet since it is in the 70 and 80s in Colorado right now, but I'm anticipating that the jacket will work out perfectly in the fall. Years ago I purchased the women's version so I'm expecting that this jacket will serve him well. Sometimes it's worth it to pay a bit extra for a nicer jacket.

Purchased this jacket in late winter for use on winter hikes. It fits great and still has a little room to add layers if I needed it. Jacket is super warm, it's only been cold enough to wear it one time since I've gotten it.

I bought this jacket for myself. I am a women with large arms and chest area. The men coats fits better. Overall the coat is amazing. It's light weight and warm. The hood covers my cheeks protected from windchill, and I love how it zips all the way up to my chin. The color is unisex sea foam It's nice. Not to shiny or loud, but perfect green for man or woman. Definitely will buy again.

I was pleased it fit so well and was glad I chose a large size. With my being only medium build, larger individuals may want to consider a larger size.
I'm not sure how durable the outer shell will be and I'd recommend avoiding any conditions that may result in a snag.
The jacket is extremely light in weight and has been comfortable in 30 degree F temperatures.

I bought this jacket for a trip to Iceland... last week in February. It had to meet 3 criteria.. pack very small, be lightweight & be warm. It did its job in all areas. I was never cold even walking on a glacier in a snowstorm. It was also the perfect weight & fit in my suitcase without any problems. All in all.. perfect

I bought this jacket for a specific purpose: walking our dog in the evening during late fall and early spring when the weather is chilly but not cold, and night falls early. I wanted a color that would be conspicuous after dark. It does the job well for warmth, comfort, storage, and reflecting auto headlights. About that color: chartreuse? When I received the jacket last week, I was surprised to find it a glossy medium gold, but that's OK. This is a men's jacket, yes? Chartreuse? I have found similar jackets on the websites of other outdoor gear sellers where a similar color is labeled "coyote". Theirs doesn't look like a coyote, but yours doesn't look like chartreuse, either. I bet your sales of this color would double if you do nothing more than change the description to "gold". Hey, free advice is worth every penny, isn't it?

Incredibly warm, light, and comfortable! We live in the snowiest city in the USA. Winter can get intense here with temperatures well below freezing on a regular basis. I am happy to say that this coat holds up very well, even in the wind. It's unbelievable how light weight yet warm it is. Best winter coat ever!

My husband kept saying he did not need this jacket. Knowing how great mine is I just bought it for him. Lightest and warmest jacket ever he says now. Look forward to traveling with these coats

Before ordering I noted a number of what I considered whiny complaints from other reviewers. Nonetheless, I did order the jacket, have had it over a month and have worn it each day. It is slightly big on me but well within acceptable. I have had no issues with shifting down or cold spots. I have worn it fron 30-55 degrees and it is always comfortable, not too hot or cold. The jacket is incredibly light and I have had several positive comments on the color (green). It really is an outstanding jacket and am happy I ordered it in "tall" for the sleeve length is perfect. I have also worn it in light rain without problems as the fabric has minimal shedding properties.

I love this coat. I bought one for my wife as a gift several years ago. it became her winter coat of choice. I bought her a second one in a different color. She liked it so much that I thought I would try it also. I was a little worried that it would be too light to keep me warm on my long winter walks. I need not have worried. I often find myself easing the zipper a bit to let out some heat. The coat is super light, tight to the wind, and very cozy even in very cold weather. Great value.

I bought this jacket for my dad because he has shoulder issues and has a hard time getting a coat on. He also gets cold easily. I picked this one because of the weight of the coat and how warm it was. My dad loves this coat. He told me that he hasn't used any other jacket since I bought him this one. He says that it is the best coat he has ever owned. I was very happy with me purchase.

I wanted a light down jacket with a hood and L.L. Bean fit the bill. The colors were great, I bought Juniper; it looks amazing. Great for hiking and getting around town!

This feels like a well-made jacket that will last for a while. The zipper is good (I have had numerous jackets where zippers would get caught in the material). It feels very warm (I have been wearing it in 20-35 degree temps so far) while at the same time being very light. I have not had a chance to see its performance if it gets really wet yet. So far the DWR has done a good job repelling light precipitation but I've only had it for a month. I don't really have anything bad to say about it so far. The fit is good for me, if anything a little generous, so I have room to have a decent layer or two underneath. Some times jackets and long-sleeve shirts in size medium don't have long enough sleeves for me or the body is too short, but this is perfect.

I picked out my christmas gift of one of these jackets (womens) a couple of winters ago. It was my turn to get a jacket for my husband. Originally I had bought a large, but it was way too big and looked odd on him. Went to the store and exchanged for the medium which fits perfectly well (he has long arms and does not like when sleeves ride up). He's able to layer underneath if needed. He's been very happy, and warm with his new jacket- loved the carbon navy combination.
