This coat comes as advertised. This is my second one. I bought one couple of years ago without a hood. Both of these coats are awesome. Keeps you very warm in the fall and winter in early spring. Good for all three seasons! Go out and get yourself one.

My husband actually wore what I picked out for him. He wore it on the top of Mt Washington over the weekend and looked happy. Its is a little puffier than I expected, but fits well and is very warm.

We have purchased several different 850 jackets and this new style looks promising. The packing capability of the jacket coupled with the warmth are a huge plus.

The left front pocket is the one to use for packing it away. That's where mine is.

The coat is extremely light, almost like a windbreaker. It seems warm so far, but the weather hasn't turned too cold yet. The hood, pockets, and sleeves are very tight, not letting wind in. I like this coat.

An all around excellent jackets. Cozy warm, great looking, fit well and the zip pocket works great for the cell phone. Better then any previous down jackets that I have worn.

Excellent warmth , comfort , even in 20-30F , the pockets to keep your hand warm , length of the sleeves etc are perfect .. my husband loves it .. the 850 down just perfect as a winter jacket

It's great. Very warm despite near weightlessness. Zippers good quality. I love the color. Only gripes: the hood makes no attempt to move when I turn my head. So if I turn my head to the side, my vision is cut off because the hood is still facing forward. Also it is loud, which is bad for the hood. With the hood on, the swishing noises drown out much sound from the outside world.

Color is a little different, but the quality is excellent.

Love the color and fit! It has a good weight as it's not too thin or too bulky.
