A good parka. Lightweight, well constructed. Doesn't have as many features (pockets inside) that I am accustomed to, but it's an ok parks.

Overall a very good purchase. Warm! Great color and the fit allows for good layering. Two complaints. First, the zipper sticks. Perhaps it will loosen up, not sure. Second, the pocket situation. Only has side pockets that are not very deep. Tough to fit in even a lightweight pair of gloves never mind a hat. And those are they only pockets...so wish there was an inside one or two.

Great coat! I only have it 4 stars because it was a little small and that was probably my fault. Extra large is a little too large so I ordered a large tall. It is really tight around the bottom because I have acquired a guy and hips . I'm returning and reordering an extra large.

This is a nice warm coat. It fits to size. I would have said 5 stars except for the outer shell. It's very thin and will probably rip easily. Definitely not a woods coat. For regular outdoor wear I'm sure it will hold up fine.

I am very happy with this coat. I have just one complaint: I wish you had made the pockets a little deeper.

I go to LLBean from experiance and reputation. The prices are high but the clothing will last. The last parka I bought lasted more than ten years.

Got the Tall Largel black non static Its Cozy Warm Inside. Easy Washable low/no heat dryer setting does not shrink. Water spills on outside wisk away dries quickly. Cost seems slightly high but guess its worth it in the long run. Only downside since I bought similar one in 2012 and now no morw kangaroo boxy type bottom pockets they replaced with slanted thus I can lose items in it must snap closed.

The jacket is warm and comfortable in challenging Minnesota ice fishing conditions. The one problem is that the zipper is not a 2-way zipper. I am a sled pulling, "bucket-sitter" ice fisherman and wear this under ice bibs and float coat often way out on a lake. Without a two-way zipper, it is very difficult for a guy to get to the LLBean wool pants zipper to answer the call of nature. If the jacket had a 2-way zipper it would be perfect. It needs a 2-way zipper! (The problem explanation is probably clear enough to exclude photos.)

Very warm jacket that is lightweight and fairly good quality. My only complaints would be about the depth and angle of the pockets as well as the strength of the material. My iPhone fell out of the pocket when I was biking because they are completely horizontal (no vertical component) and not very deep. I had to replace my phone, and then with the replacement phone it fell out of the pocket again when I was running to catch the bus. Both partly my fault, but also partly due to the design of the jacket. the material is a little thinner and seems prone to possibly tearing.

Coat nice and warm for my Father . He can zip it much easier than his previous coat. Wishes there was an outer pocket on chest area that zips . And would be nice if hand pockets zipped . So he doesnt loose his keys etc. He is so happy he has a warm coat cause he is elderly and always cold .

Very happy with my purchase. Came just in time, as we've had more than our usual share of cold weather in early 2022 in my area. Fits well. Extra length is helpful. Putting up the hood really helps to seal in the warmth Seems well-made and built to last. It's not exactly the most fashionable of jackets, but looks fine.

So far the mountain parka has met most of my expectations. Fit's well and performs well in sub zero weather with good comfort while driving. Just a couple of things that could be improved are the snaps over on the front which could be larger and easier to snap. I would also be nice to have had a drawstring on the inside around the waist are. Other than that it's what I expected from a coat at this price.

Bought this to replace a 10 year old Primaloft LLBean jacket. This is a fantastic, comfortable jacket but not as good as the Primaloft at being the "right" weight for a borad range of temperatures. I find it too warm when it gets above freezing. Too warm to wear if driving an hour or more.

Warm and comfortable. However, the flap snaps are a bear to close, Requires extra pressure using two hands to close them. Other jackets I have with snaps are much easier to operate.

This seems to be a good coat. I have a mountain classic vest that I really like which influenced the purchase. The coat is good but not relatively as good as the vest. The coat fits well, is decently warm, and feels good to wear. The hem or whatever it's called could be shortened but that's not a deal breaker.

I needed to replace my winter coat after 6 years. I looked through the website and found the Mountain Classic Down Parka. I wanted a longer coat that would go below the hip, was rugged to take a beating from my use and the dogs. This coat has more than met my expectations. It is warm, not cumbersome, easy to move in. I haven;t really used the hood, but the one time I did use it, I found it to be warm.
The pockets have a second zippered pocket that is nicely lined, I do have to remember to close the zipper to keep from overloading it.

4/5 stars because it's nice and fits well. I am 6'5" and lean and ordered a Medium Tall. Very happy with product. Not 5 stars though because the price is a bit high. I also have a Large Tall, both look nice

I love the coat. Feels good, looks fine and keeps me warm. The only problem is the design of the snaps on the sleeves. They come unsnapped about 6 times every time I wear it. Please come up with a solution.

This is a warm jacket that fit me beautifully. On that front, nothing but great things to say. Two issues. First, the buttons on the hood came off very easily and often left cold air flowing onto my neck. I don't really know why this approach to removing the hood is preferable to a zipper. Second, after 3 years, the zipper has started getting stuck and not working properly.

I was looking for a long puffer that is lightweight, affordable and not fussy. Im happy with this parka based on what I was looking for. The only issues I have is that it is a little too tight/snug around the neck and I wish the hood was larger.
