This coat keeps me warm, fits nice with the exception of the hood. The hood is to big and covers my eye when I pull it on , I've tried adjusting it but I can't find the sweet spot. The snaps attaching the hood to the collar unsnap to easily.

Bought this to replace a Spyder jacket my husband wore for 10 years when blowing snow. He said it's warm and he likes that it is a bit longer than his previous jacket, also that the pockets are larger and more secure. It seems to be well made, we will see how it holds up to a Minnesota winter.

Very good fit. Quite comfortable. Nice shade of blue. Not too bright. Hasn't been cold enough to really wear it yet but based upon years of buying LL Bean clothing I expect I'll be pleased with the performance.

Nice jacket for the cold weather. Wish it had more collar on it. Zipper is a metal one and works great. I would buy it again.

This is a warm and comfortable coat. It is missing an outside Breast pocket. Also the snaps on the hood come apart to easily. If you can live with these shortcomings, it is a great coat.

Very sharp good looking jacket . Warm , good length sizes are true . Lightweight for such a warm coat ,I've worn it every day since I bought it . The only thing negative is the bad fasteners on the hood . Buttons give the coat a classy look but Velcro would probably be more practical. 5'9 200 . Large fits perfect Love it and would definitely recommend

The jacket is a slimmer fit and I believe it's advertised to be slimmer.

Had this coat for a few months. Warm yet lightweight coat, great for my commute which has a bit of a walk. Appreciate it can withstand a bit of rain too. Nice color and overall well made. I have 2 downsides to this jacket. One is the snaps connecting the removable hood to the jacket come undone a little too easily for me.sometimes just the lightest tug holding the jacket by the hood will undo a couple, or if I have the jacket draped on the back of my chair. The other drawback is I've had a few feathers find their way out of the coat already. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but will be disappointed if it doesn't last more tha'n a few winters.

Comfortable, warm and classic understated good looks. Prior reviews mentioned zipper problems. I found that if you support the bottom end of the zipper when zipping on or off, it works just fine.

This is a very good looking jacket, and the tall fits perfectly. A major problem is that it is very lightweight and is definitely not warm enough for Chicago winters. I noticed that a tag attached to this jacket said it was great for kids. This is not a kid's sized coat and I expected it to be much warmer than it is. So it's a disappointment. Wish I had returned it, but I bought it as a gift and it sat in a box for too long.

The buttons on the hood snap off quite easily otherwise the jacket is warm and stylish.

This parka replaced a LL bean winter parka that I've had for 13 or so years. The old coat was still serviceable though the zipper no longer worked most of the time. I like this new parka as it's very warm but also very light in weight. Others have commented that they don't like the snaps on the cuffs and would prefer velcro but the snaps are fine as far as I'm concerned. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the zipper has a tendency to get caught on the material that covers it . It's not a big deal but you do have to be careful when zipping it up.

Comfortable. didn't get to use it much due to surgery and mild Winter. When I did use it, it kept me warm.

Nice parka. However formaldehyde smell objectionable.

The color is nice and the fit is perfect but it is VERY frustrating to pull up the bottom zipper because it continually catches in the flap underneath.

It's a warm coat & has performed well so far. The sleeves at the armpits are a little tight & the coat doesn't seem quite puffy enough. Overall though it's a good, warm coat

Great coat, good fit, very warm. Hood is a bit awkward.

This parka is a very good fit for me a six foot one inch 225lb man.The only complaint I would have with it is the snaps on the hood not working very well.

Warm parka. It could use a draw string at the bottom.

I live in Iowa and wore this coat in 16 degree temps this morning with a flannel shirt and fleece underneath and was warm scooping snow. The coat is not a true parka because the inside cinches are absent and the cuffs don't fully keep cold air out. Still, the down feathers do their job and insulate you well. As others have said, the zipper can be temperamental and I jammed it the very first time I wore the coat. We have some temps below zero in a few days so we'll see if it holds up. Recommend for the winters of the Upper Midwest so far.

Very warm and lightweight, but no way to cinch up the middle or bottom on the men's version. There is a cinch on the women's version. Ran large for me and I had to return it.
