Sole started to come off the bottom. Eventually before the winter season was over it came completely off and I was forced to return and buy another pair. Great fit and feel but poor workmanship. Returning and getting a replacement hopefully the next pair isn't as bad.

After trying various slip-on short boots, I am loving these Storm Chasers. Whether running out for fire wood on a cold night or working in the yard, I am enjoying them. They go on easily, but fit well, and they are comfortable and warm, keeping my feet dry.

The shoes were well made and looked great. Unfortunately, they were very uncomfortable on my feet. Sorry. I sent them back, and see from the tracker you received them over a week ago. Am eager to see the refund on my credit card.

I recd 2 shoes that looked and felt like 2 left feet...were they trying to tell me something? I sent them back for credit.

Received arnd Dec 16th . Very tight fit as ordered in my shoe size (10) . Tried on for 3 minutes , very uncomfortable wearing plain socks . Took off 'n returned to Freeport Maine Dec 20th . Enclosed exchange form 'n asked to send me Size 11 . As of Jan 3rd still waiting for replacement . . Be careful ordering this style - Brent Annapolis

The shoes are well made but fit very loosely making them hard to walk in. The back of my foot slides up and down. I thought they might be too big for me so I ordered a pad for the front of the shoe. My heel still slides.

Very uncomfortable with Very little support - Perhaps a nit of memory foam, or something (?) to help ease the hardness of the Sole.

Love this shoe, but will not be repurchasing. In just over 2 years, the left side sprang a leak. 1 year guarantee is not long enough with respect to leaks. I don't expect a failure: no abuse, treads are in great shape. There must be a failed seam, which is poor workmanship. No response from customer service.

I love this boot. Easy to slip on and off. Great for walking the dog on a wet morning or some light gardening. However I do not think they fit well. I was rushed in the store by the attendant. He claimed that there should be an inch from the front of my toe to the front of the boot and sent me on my way. After a few wears, they just seem too loose and lack stability on uneven surfaces. I'm starting to think he didn't have the next size down but still wanted the sale.

Shoe did not fit well. Slipped on my heel. Not designed to grip foot.

I tried to look up the purchase date, must have got them in 21 or 22. Anyway over the years I have purchased at least four pair. Up until now they work pretty good. This pair the sole began to collapse on the inside of both shoes causing problems with my ankles and knees. It's easy to see how it compressed on the inside at a greater rate than the rest of the shoe. The tread isn't wearing down at a greater rate due to a problem pronation. None of my other shoes excess wear on the inside.

Not what they used to be, on my third pair and this pair started leaking in the toe after just a year.

I've had three different pairs of these storm chaser slip-on over the years, and every single pair has lost its waterproofness after a couple of years. My most recent pair have been in intermittent service for about two and a half years and they're now starting to leak. These are great shoes / boots for lots of activities, but you really cannot depend on them remaining waterproof. Unfortunately with LL Bean's new policy on returns, these are not returnable because of their poor workmanship. Overall despite being very nice, these are most certainly not worth the price that they are now sold at.

dew started to get into the seams. I'm surprised an L.L. Bean product, especially shoes, aren't made well. Very comfortable shoe, but does not last long. Too expensive for such a short life. Not worth the price.

These shoes are comfortable, yet built like the proverbial tank. A little clunky for wearing around inside the house, but I wear them every day, inside and out, year round. They really shine in the wet winter months in Louisiana. I have had them almost a year and a half and cannot imagine being without them.

I don't get a chance to wear these much but the sole on both boots is seperating. The old style bean boots I have are going strong after years of use.

These ran small for me. I normally wear an 11 but had to send the first pair back for a size 12. Even with a 12 I can't wear with socks. Just not enough room. After owning these for about 4 years the tip and side of the rubber soles started to separate and leak. No longer usable. Unfortunately to late for a warranty.

Received defective shoes the bonding was loose in one of the shoes. Sent it back for a new pair and it's on backorder for a couple months.

When I first put these on I had to check to make sure I had them on the correct feet - something is not quite right about the fit. I don't know if the leather tops were sewn on crooked or if the rubber bottoms are not curved enough, but the rubber bottoms are pressing against the front inside of my feet. I just need these to walk the dog in the rain so I'll keep them but I could not wear these for any length of time.

These look great but they just don't fit right; tight/hard to get on then loose once walking around. My husband and I both got a pair (men's and women's); heels slip. Very uncomfortable to walk around in; feet "sloshing". Disappointing but there is some sort of design issue with these.

The back tab pulled off when trying to put them on my feet.

Disappointing the inside sole material is already coming apart I had always heard of the quality of your shoes this is not quality I have barely worn them
