Fit is misleading and not great. Trying to see how they feel after breaking in.

My husband is a 10. Got him a 10.5 for wiggle room - too tight and too uncomfortable and he has nice strong narrow feet. They just don't work so I am returning them. Too bad.

I found these to be very awkward to wear. I wear a 10.5, and I found them very tight in the toe box, yet my heels slipped out when I walked and pulled my socks with them. I tried multiple different socks, but the shoes are so stiff and inflexible, to keep from stepping out of them, you have to walk like Frankenstein's Monster and plod along. Aside from the awkward fit, they seemed well built and cozy and would have been nice for sloppy winter dog walks and yardwork. Ultimately I had to return them. Your experience may vary.

These boots are very wide with way to much height over instep. Does not hold foot in place. Even after replacing flimsy insoles and adding very this socks, they still do not fit well. The boot style is a great idea, but was a failure for me.

I want to like them but they probably would be way more comfortable if they actually fit.

I ordered a pair in Men's 9 1/2 to replace an old pair that I have had for a few years and the insoles are starting to fail . So when I received the new ones the left shoe was to tight so I exchanged them for a size 10 . When I received this pair the box was nearly destroyed and the left shoe felt like it had a lump in the sole and caused my left foot to lean to the left very uncomfortable so I returned them and asked for a refund . Guess my old one will half to do .

I've been wearing same size shoe for over 40 years, last few years it seems size quality is slipping. Shoes are tending smaller and no it is not because my feet have grown because I still have several pair of shoes same size that still fit.
I knew size was becoming an issue so I searched LL Bean site for sizing guidance. I wanted to be told how to measure my foot and what size they now think I should be. Only shoe size information I could find was international conversion chart. No help.
I'm returning shoes and it will cost me $6.50 for LL Beans failure to provide size information. I could understand if return cost was applied when dissatisfied with color or style but not when they can't get size right or provide information to get right size.
It's a shame because they are good quality shoes and what I was looking for but using hit and miss method for sizing do I order a size larger, half size larger and be charged another $6.50, $13.00. No thanks, I suspect I'm done with LL Bean

I just returned these as they were way too tight and difficult to get on with my rather average 9.5 D foot....
Making available a wider version would make sense. I decided not to order a size up, as I suspect that would not solve my problem.

I REALLY LIKED THESE AS PERFECT FOR WALKING AROUND YARD WHEN WET GRASS OR LIGHT SNOW. HOWEVER SEPARARATION AT SEAM BETWEEN SOUL & UPPER ON INSIDE OF LEFT SHOE PROVDES A WET SOCK EXPERIENCE. THESE WERE PURCHASED JANUARY 2020 SO LESS THAT ONE YEARS USE. DESPITE THIS, I HAVE JUST ORDERED A NEW PAIR WITH THE ARTIC GRIP BASED ON SATISFACTION WITH OTHER GOODS OVER THE YEARS. MAYBE THIS WAS AN ABERATION.

I tried real hard to like these boots but after a couple of days I had to send them back. I am a true size 12 off of the rack but these boots were too short and too narrow. To make things worse, I would be concerned about their quality control because I could look down and almost see the left shoe and see the toe turned to the left (see photo). I have seen this in cheap tennis shoes before and really surprised to see this in an LL Bean product.

I liked the convenience of being able to slip these on easily, and they're very sturdily made, but after a little while I find my feet aching; so I probably will try to return these. I acknowledge there may just be something wrong with my feet. They felt all right when I tried them on in the store, walking around for a bit, but having them on for several hours is another experience altogether.

68 years old and have bought LL Beans all my life and done ! Bought these about three years ago and they have leaked from the first winter. Only wear them when wet out. Contacted company right away and they said send them in ( 4 to 6 weeks) or return to a store (80 miles away). Have tried glueing seam three times with three different products, none of which lasted. They suck ! Never buy LL Bean shoes again. Not the same they use to be.

I've given these 2 tries now. both failed miserably after a few months, meaning, they were not waterproof. the seams are cheaply glued and the glue fails. will not be wasting another 130.00 on these again. I had higher hopes for an L.L.bean product.

Took over a month to get them. The shoes are not sized as advertised. Advertised as 2X and are really just X large.

Atrocious. They are a knock off. The tab on the back broke on the first time I wore them.

The shoe was too small to even fit into. Hurt around the top part of the ankle. Did not fit wide even when ordered wide. Felt no arch support at all. No flex of the product.

LL Bean doesn't make shoes for wide feet. I need a (EEE) width and also have a high instep, and LL Bean boots never fit. The instep wasn't high enough; could not even get my foot halfway into the boot. They must assume everyone has narrow feet regardless of what the sizing says.

I liked the way these looked and was excited for a pair of slip-on boots. Unfortunately, they weren't really snug. My heel would slip when I tried to walk in them. Now, on the plus side for the company, I went to the store to return them and discovered the joy of buying large, tall shirts from L.L. Bean. :)

I bought these for hanging around camp and light yard work. Mostly sitting outdoors.
They are stored dry and in a dark room. 5 years old I think.
By looks of the wear 1 year old.
I figured these would last longer than they did. The Vietnamese made these.
Will L.L.Bean trade me for a new pair? I'd be happy then.

I ordered a pair but when I received them, they were 1/2 a size to small. I sent them back to be exchanged for a larger size and I'm still waiting for the new, larger pair. It has been almost a month and I'm still waiting.

I've been buying storm chasers for over 30 years was ALWAYS really happy with them except for the last couple of years. They quit making the women's clogs so tried the slip ones. They seemed to have cheapen them so much had to switch to the men's which seemed to have the same quality I was used to. So kept them. Now after a couple of years use they started getting wet inside after just walking thru wet grass. So after being a long time LL BEAN customer no any longer. I'm very disappointed in this product and the LL BEAN company.
