Found them to be hard to walk in for any distance. Have a big back yard which requires walking and I thought I could use them for working out there. likely my mistake, picked the wrong shoe. I did end up returning them. very good about that Probably better off sticking to the LL Bean boots

I purchased a size 9 and a 9 1/2 thinking one would fit because I wear a size 9 shoe. I couldn't even get my foot in either boot??? My feet are not extra wide either. Looks like a nice boot but it would have been nice if I could get it on my foot?

I bought this 2 weeks ago and water coming in so easy and have hard time put my feet in,they are not a slip in shoes

Sadly heel pull-on tab did not stay attached to shoe

Shoes are fine but I didn't appreciate the 6-7 weeks of wait while they were backordered

This is a big, ol' loose boot that is so tight you need two hands to put on, but once you shove your foot through the tight opening, you discover it has a huge toe box, a loose heel and an overall sloppy feel once you do get it on. I cannot recommend.

This boot is in no way "slip-on". I guess it's called that because it has no fasteners or laces. However, it is so stiff that it could never be put on by stepping into it. It was so hard to get on that I returned them.

Way too small. Couldn't even begin to pull them on in the size I always wear in other shoes. To make matters worse, Bean now charges $6 to return them and issues a "gift" card rather than refunding the purchase price to your credit card. This is not the same company that it was just a few years back. I would not recommend them any longer. I have been buying from them for over 30 years, but no longer.

I've gone through many, many pairs of these over the years. They have been thr best shoes for walking the dog in any weather, summer or winter. But they've been getting worse and worse in quality. The lining starts to rip and then they start to pass water. My most recent pair is only 6 months old and has lining inside ripped and one shoe passes water. They are not cheap to last only 6 months! Please do something LLBean. For now we have to stop buying these.

Shoe looks great. Love the style. However I tried 9 1/2 Reg on in store in 5 different pairs of the men's storm 5 slip on. None fit right. The store told me to order on line which I did and had an issue that I couldn't even get my foot to go in either shoe. I took them to the store where they told me to order on line and got my money back. They were very polite and customer oriented. My opinion is poor quality control by the manufacture for JJ Bean

Very difficult to put on. The uppers are extremely stiff and inflexible. I was unable to put them on and returned them immediately. A larger size might have been better. Also, I did not get a refund but a merchandise credit. Luckily there is an outlet store 75 miles away. Better to try something on rather than guess and order online.

This is my third pair, bought the same size, these are smaller and quite hard to get on, not a slip on anymore! Stop labeling them as slip-ons!

Way to hard to get my foot into, fine once they were on but I have high arches and they were just too hard to pull on, I had to send them back

Sizes are smaller than normal. Bought 10.5 wide and they were too small and narrow.

Purchased in wide width but do not fit properly, the uppers are correct width but the sole is not as wide as the upper and foot falls over the side.

I bought size 10 wide (EE). I could wear a size 9.5 but I always go bigger. These boots were way too tight in the sides, to the point of pinching my feet. I wanted something that I could literally slip my foot in while standing but there's no way I can do that with these. Maybe they'll "loosen" up after wearing them awhile but I'm not taking that chance with a $100plus pair of boots. So I'll be returning them.

Excellent material quality and expected value as I'd come to expect from L.L. Bean BUT out of the box the right shoe upper was twisted/shifted in a manner that made wearing the shoe and taking a step very uncomfortable / awkward. They were returned.

The most painful shoe I've ever purchase from LLB. The exterior was functional as advertised, but if you need to wear these for more than a couple hours or for a walk of 2,3+ miles, OUCH! After my two seasons of VERY limited wear, I gave them up and gave them away. On the other hand, the companion shoe, the BOOT, I used to live in them ... go figure!

Good looking shoe but rear strap broke at stitching the first time I tried to pull shoe on. I returned to local store. I noticed many similar shoes had the same detail..

The ad indicated wide EE but they are more like a medium. Very disappointing that Bean does not really have true wide boots or shoes. I have tried several and they all do not live up to a Wide EE. I have been successful with other manufactures that really do have true Wide EE boots and shoes.

The shape of the shoe was strange. The right shoe seemed to curve to the left. Was not comfortable

Little bit tight probably will be great once broken in

I bought a second pair of storm chaser shoes because I enjoyed my prior pair, which had worn out, and wanted a new pair. After wearing them only 3 months, the back pull on strap broke. I didn't have any of the straps break on the old shoes.

These run 3/4 inch big. Definitely order 1/2 size smaller or even one whole size.

Looked like a great shoe and was anxious to try, but, these too hard, stiff, and inflexible for me. Not as easy to slip on as expected either. And, fit was a bit tighter than all other shoes of same size. So, I returned and didn't want to try 1/2 size larger.
