The fit is good but I need to use a shoehorn to get into it easily. Pretty tight using just the heel loop in the back. I wanted something to just slip into, but can't with this without using the heel loop or shoehorn, so a more open type would solve this. The construction and traction is fine and the fit is good with minimal heel lift.

My wife has a pair she loves. She has a wide foot, and they fit her fine. The ones I ordered (10 1/2) are too small, and very narrow. Not sure even going up to an 11 would help with the narrow toe box. Will have to return. Very disappointed.

Too early to rate, given that I rank durability highly. However, i do dislike tread--it just fills with mud and provides no additional traction, thus adding a lot of weight

Shoe seemed nice, but was way too stiff and too large. Had to send it back and pay the return fee. I find it really is best to buy shoes in a shoe store where I can try on a couple prior to making any kind of decision. Guess I will need to go up to the LLBean store!

Good shoes, great looking, look like they would last a long time. But for me, too narrow at the front and, unfortunately, I had to return them.

Nice shoes but the width is too narrow. I've been asking why LL Bean doesn't make and never have made wide width shoes ? Poor excuses from LL Bean. They could easily double their sales and profit. Sorry to say I will not ever be able to purchase any shoes/boots from LL Bean in the future until they smarten up and start offering wide and extra wide widths . It's a shame because otherwise I could and would give them a lot of business

Nice boot but the size 14 was way too big and the 13 way too small. Very frustrating

I wish they offered a wide width but they only come in medium width. I bought the same item a few years ago and I used them quite a bit when the ground was wet and also for projects such as power washing. However, one shoe eventually started leaking, leaving my sock sopping wet, and I could not figure out the source of the leak. So I bought another pair (same size) but they seem possibly tighter in width than the original pair. Since they are rubber, they do sort of stretch and mold to your foot after wearing them for a few minutes. Nevertheless, I think a wide width would be more comfortable. Incidentally, I also have a pair of waterproof Merrell shoes, but one of those also starting leaking after a year or so.

Something has changed in he construction of the storm chaser shoe. It is not as comfortable as my previous 3 or 4 pairs. The insole feels tipped to one side and the cushioning has become a lot firmer. These used to fit like a real comfy pair of walking shoes, but they have become "more firm" and less comfortable. I believe they are durable, but after 4 or 5 hours it feels good to take them off.

90 - 95% of size I've worn my whole life is 9 1/2 D. These shoes were made narrower on the last & rubber does not stretch.. My podiatrist said an E width would have solved problem, So please consider offering more widths. I exchanged the 9 1/2 D ones for a size 10 D. Wll try soon & hope they fit OK.

Overall comfort level is ok/average. I generally wear size 10 shoes, however certain running shoes at 10.5 or even 11. I originally purchased these at size 11; way too big, and returned. 10 1/2 seem about right, 10's would have been too small. They are just not as comfortable as other reviewers rate. After wearing for 30 minutes in wet or snowy conditions, my dogs are barking and I'm ready to take them off. LLBean had made a prior version of these, about 8 or 9 years ago, which provided better comfort. We swear by their products, however this one is just 'ok'.

I really liked the low cut back version of the storm chaser clogs as they were great for slipping on and off in order to make a quick trip outside. Will LL Bean be bringing back to low cut back style?

The older, original version of this shoe had a different material around the top that was very comfortable. The next time I bought the Storm Chasers for my husband, that material was different, slipping on his foot and eating his socks. Make no mistake, these are the best shoes of this type available, but I won't buy again because of this one thing. He keeps wearing his Storm Chasers from 20 years ago, cracks in the rubber and all. Theyare workhorses and he would love a new pair but whatever they are using on the part around your heel and foot top needs to be changed back to leather. I bought the women's version for myself in the 1990s and still wear them for their support and comfort during weather extremes.

I really like these..but don't using the sizing of a "Bean Boot" to consider what size to order... very narrow and slightly short... you might have to go up a full size and 1/2 to accommodate.. I'm guessing these are chinese made... american made shoes in my experience are more generously sized.

I have purchased this item several times because it is rugged and long lasting. However, I have found that the product is not waterproof as advertised and tends to leak after a month or two of wearing. I onlt buy it because the alternatives are far less comfortable.

Rather disappointed with this product. They seem to fit, but my heel continues to pull up out of the shoe with every step- perhaps the bottom too stiff? Otherwise, they look nice, and feel good except when I walk.I am hoping that over time it will stay on my foot better.

Had to return these well-made shoes, because they didn't feel snug in the heels. They felt like I could walk out of them. L.L.Bean was responsible to take them back, and swiftly send me a refund check. I was impressed and grateful!

These are nice stylish insulated winter Mocs. They are reasonably well insulated, and very handy to slip on for chilly, sloppy weather. They are a little stiff out of the box but I am hoping they will break in. Also for me width was fine but length seems a bit short-perhaps I should have gone a half size up--too late to return though. For me the top opening works fine to slip on, but the heel is a little loose. I didn't expect a glove fit, and for their purpose it should be fine with some heavy socks. Although no doubt fit will depend on your individual feet. I was disappointed that the rubber used in the top and sides is a more sensitive to heat than I would have expected for an outdoor shoe. I wore these about a foot or two from an outside space heater and to my dismay I noticed that very quickly the outer side rubber and sole beginning to melt. My cheap pair of $30 sneakers held up better to that relatively low level of heat than these supposedly more rugged Mocs. I suspect many will want to wear these around a campfire of fire pit on winter and chilly nights. Beware you may destroy them.

Others have said the same thing, the shape of the toe area is uncomfortable, the shoe puts pressure on the outside of the big toe, trying to get use to it but may have to send them back.

I love these shoes except that the left shoe is making my foot hurt. The toe box of my left shoe is to tight or narrow that after an hour or so of wearing them, causes my foot to hurt, especially my toes.

I have owned 3 pairs of these over the last 6 years, all were size 11 and fit fine. My newest pair arrived and are at least 1/2 size if not a full size larger than all my previous pairs. They last about 2 years in everyday use, typically after 2 years they split either where the leather uppers are bonded to the rubber or where the rubber is bonded to the sole. Not the best quality but as good as any others I've tried so I keep coming back to them.

Why don't you offer these shoes in a wide width? I have a pair of D Width shoes and though I like the shoes, they are too narrow. I tried the next half size up, and my heel kept slipping and getting irritated.
