Heavy duty but doesn't grip your heel well, your foot keeps slipping up the back. Overall a bit big, should suggest going down 1/2 size.

Shoes arrived in a heavily damaged box. Not suitable for gift giving. I was surprised that L.L. Bean would ship an item in a box in this condition.

Size was fine and cushioning was good, but just didn't feel right on my feet.

I'm sure the shoe, itself, would have been fine. But when putting on for the first time, the pull tab on heel broke. Had to return them. No longer available for replacement.

Not true to size for me. I'm 11.5 and this is probably a 11.75. Beautiful looking and feels good but too sloppy.

The 12 Wide is more like 12 Medium. The turned up toe looks like trouble for long walks. I'm done buying shoes online from LLB.

Size not true to fit. I am a size 10 and bought size 11. Still somewhat tight at the toes with an awarkward upward turn at toes. fit worse when wearing heavier socks. Well made. Hopefully fit will get better with time but I doubt it as rubber doesnt give like leather.

I purchased this shoe in an attempt to replace the 6" Original Bean Boot, which I was informed was no longer being made in my size. While a great looking shoe and appearing to be of good quality, I wasn't able find a pair that fit my 9EEE feet properly.

I find them very uncomfortable so far ...but wore them a cpl t imes and they made my feet sore....thinking about returning them...can I do that or is it to late...bought a pair of Stoningtons and got them yesterday, hopefully they will work out... G

I like the whole idea of these shoes but there is a big issue that causes foot pain for me. The bottom of the shoe is arched upwards at the toes instead of flat. I wish it wasn't like this. Are all LL Bean shoes/boots like this?

I bought this pair as a follow up from a pair I bought a few years ago. They fell good, wear longer than any other shoe I have worn and will replace this pair with another down the road.

This might sound weird but It is hard to tell which shoe is left or right. strange look and feel when wearing.

I really love these but returned them like so many the sizing is bad the wide's are not wide at all .,LLbean needs t step up the quality control there's hundreds of customers who feel the same way .. your not making them so reach out to the manufacturer and have them size them correctly ....

This appears to be an exceptional shoe, whether you're chasing or running from a storm, but be wary of sizing. I ordered 10.5D, even though my other shoes with one exception are comfortable at size 10D. The pair I got were too tight in the toes and quickly became painful. Normally, I've found LL Bean sizing advice very reliable. The one time I ignored it, I gave the items away and just reordered the "correct" size, feeling stupid about returning an item LL Bean's website said would be too big, even after washing. For me, this time, this shoe was too tight in the toes and too loose at the heel, so I returned it.

Great shoe. After wearing out the first pair (I wore them very hard) i liked them so much, I purchased 2nd pair. According to the shoe label, I ordered the exact same size as the worn-out pair. The new ones came in and were tight. Probably. 1 size too small. I was able to squeeeeeez into them, but I would be happier if the were "truly" the same size as my old shoes.

I ordered my size of 13 Medium. Unfortunately, they fit more like a 12 Narrow. Since a Wide isn't available, I'm not going to take a chance on a 14 Medium due to the $10 fee for returns.

Nice shoes. I wished they had 1/2 sizes for a better fit.

I upsized these to insure they would fit comfortably to avoid the problem I had with an earlier slipper purchase. However , even with that,they were too small and very narrow for a D width.

LL Bean needs to start dealing with suppliers that offier wide widths. This shoe and a few other styles I have tried are too narrow.

I wanted to love these but the fit seemed too narrow so returned. I did try 2 sizes, both too narrow for me. Beautiful boot if it works for you!

I purchased 3 pairs size 10,9 1/2 and 9. All three pairs were to big. I wear a size 10 in most shoes.

The soles wear out too fast and size is tight in the toe. I work on grass and dirt. Not on concrete. Overall ok since there are Very few waterproof, slip on, work shoes out there. I'm going to try LaCross although they cost more. Maybe they will last longer.
