These have great traction on wet surfaces. Very comfortable slip on. There is a "hill" just posterior to the toes that is a little aggravating, and would be a perfect shoe without that.

I ordered two sizes, 10 and 10.5 because I was concerned about length. Both arrived and neither had a toe box that suited my normal "D" width foot. Returned both pair. I think the shoe has all the right features as advertised, but they did not match up with my feet.

A little tight across the instep. Thought I had ordered a wide... Maybe I didn't

I purchased these boots for my husband he wanted a slip on type of shoe that would be waterproof. He loved the style but unfortunately they are just a bit to narrow for comfort. It, would be great if these boots could be offered in a wide width for men. I was going to send them back but my son-in-law loved them so he now has a new pair of boots.

I love that the shoe is waterproof but the toebox is too narrow. I have yet to see a foot that is shaped the way shoe manufacturers make most shoes. Great color!

These are not especially heavy, but are certainly heavier than sneakers. They walk more like boots than shoes. The ankle opening doesn't stretch very much when putting on; it's helpful to use a shoe horn. I bought my normal size and the fit is perfect in the forefoot, a bit loose in the heel, causing my heels to slip some as I walk. This may be a necessary tradeoff to get slip-ons with no laces or other fasteners. There's something just a bit different in the forefoot sole that's hard to describe. The sole doesn't feel flat, there seems to be a section just behind the toes that feels a little thicker. It causes your foot to "rock" forward over this "high spot" as you walk. A bit weird but you get used to it. Not a deal breaker. It adds to the "boot" feel. Overall quality seems high and I expect them to last a long time.

Due to an injury, I have one foot shorter than the other so I have to fit the larger of my feet. This is the first time a shoe fit my shorter foot and was too large for my larger foot.

It's not cold yet so I haven't wore them yet! But I think they will be great.

As a size 12W, I ordered my usual size and found these shoes to be mighty tight. I exchanged them for the 13W...which were too long. The width on the 13W felt great, but they slipped in the heel, as expected. I tried thicker socks, but the slippage just pushed the socks down under my heel. I'm returning them. A shame, because they are a sharp looking boot and felt like they'd be comfortable upon initial try-on. The unavailable 12.5W would have done the trick, I suspect.

I live in northern California and it hasn't rained or snowed since I bought the boots, so I don't have an opinion. In my case I don't need them, so I guess they worked. Maybe next week I'll find out, meanwhile they look fine in my boot rack.

The pull on the back of the shoe always catches the pants and it's annoying. Other than that, it's a very well made shoe. I would have purchased the boot but they were out of stock,

These are well made and appropriate for their purpose. However, I had to return them because the heels slip and make the fit too loose. A half size smaller might work for some but that makes them too small for me.

I wanted to love them, but I don't. I wear a size 13 shoe. The size 13 Storm Chaser was like wearing flip-flops. Tried a 12. Slightly less heel slipping, but tight across my instep and my toes feel cramped. The tread is great...in snow, but these boots have little to no traction on ice--like wearing hard-soled dress shoes. I've decided to keep these for this winter because I need something now, and resume my search for a good winter boot next year.

Very tight entry and quite difficult to put on for those with a high instep.

Shoes are somewhat heavy to wear. I added some insoles and bounce in the toes for a better fit. I am a woman with size 7.5 wide feet, & these are a men's 7 regular. I like the ease of taking them on & off, and I can wear them outside in rain & snow for a walk to the mailbox or to bring in/take out the trash & recycling. I think my custom insoles are also in these boots. I like the color too. Not for long hikes due to fit issues, but good for what I'd use them for. More women's wide & some extra-wide shoes/boots, please, Bean! Sometimes I have to buy from other manufacturers who carry my size. Wide means wide liike men's wide widths. We women have wide feet like men do!

Nice boot, looks well made, BUT, to tight for me to "slip-on''. Sent them back for refund.

My first pair lasted 5 years in pretty much year around wet weather. 2nd pair lasted 13 months, just over the year warrantee, sole came unglued in 2 spots and then a row of stitching let go. Very disappointing, but very comfortable and an awesome tread on the bottom before they began to have issues.

I bought these boots as a gift for my nephew for Xmas.He works at a supermarket and is often outside collecting store carriages. My sister informed me that the boots leak when it rains. They were so soaked last week it took days for them to dry. Very disappointing. This is his second pair of these boots and he had no 'wet feet' before.

I really like these for walking my dog. They slip on easily and are comfortable on most terrain. The reason I bought them was that I was tired of my sneakers getting soaked walking through the short grass with the morning dew. Unfortunately, the left shoe of these storm chasers leaks, and I always come back with a wet foot.
LLBean would really have a great shoe if they could fix this design flaw.

Shoes were waterproof (walking in wet grass) for the first 2.5 years. After that, socks get soaked when walking in wet grass.

I bought these shoes in 2023 and have worn them every day either to walk the dog, work in the garden, or just to do morning chores in the yard. They are very comfortable although I added my own insole right away as the inside had an odd curve to it where the big toe and pinky toe felt raised up compared to the middle of the foot. And after about a year the left shoe wore through the side at the pinky toe and caused a separation of the outer gum sole from the other material and started to leak. Now, almost 2 years from purchase, both sides leak so I no longer wear them in wet weather. They still look ok and I am contemplating ordering a larger size, although the length was ok, it is the width that is the problem even though it says "EE." I like the slip-on convenience and ability to wear with or without a wool sock. Wider width would get them 5 stars!

Absolutely love these shoes... BUT the heel-toe drop is very unusual: You can feel yourself tipping back; almost all weight is perceived as in the heel. No go for me.

Bought these about 5 years ago and use periodically for working in the yard when it is wet. Worked very well for about 3 years then started developing leaks around the sole at the toes. I epoxied the leaks and this worked for a while until more leaks started occurring. The body and soles look almost as good as new, but the leaks make these unusable in wet conditions. Disappointed that these did not remain waterproof for a longer period and that there is not a repair program for these like the duck shoes.
