Bought for my husband. Nice boot. Did not work for him though.

The boot is effective in cold weather and the zipper closure is a real plus. The boot fit worked because I chose one size larger than I wear to compensate for my need for a wide shoe. I chose this larger size without any help or advice from LL Bean. This led me to downgrading it from five stars to four.

The boot itself is good, appearance and comfort all good. The draw to the boot was the zip up easy on easy off design, which worked as intended. Unfortunately that design requires a larger opening around the calf which tends to pull the sock down as you walk, that bothers me so I returned them- 'it's not the cooks fault' - the boot worked as it was designed to but the zip up style wasn't right for me for that reason, but the boot itself was good enough to consider switching to the laced version.

Found these boots to be sized a little small - I wear 12M and figured the size 13 would be too big of a jump (no 12.5 size available) so I kept them.

Am satisfied with the quality of the boots. Easy on and off. Fit is a little snug with thermal socks but fine with thinner socks

tight, but getting better. issues with initial break in; but shoe horn worked wonders, now much easier. good traction and comfortable, on my feet 8hrs a day outside.

Well made, comfortable. But order a size larger than normal They run small.

Fit runs a bit small, got 10.5 should have an 11, but loosening up. Insulation is disappointing: feels chilly even at 25-30 degrees. Excellent materials and soles, good traction. Height and sealing are excellent.

Although a size 12, and I wear an 11 1/2, it's a bit too small. Next size is a 13, which I'm sure would be too large.

Sizes run small. Go one half size bigger . Bought 81/2 , should have got a 9 I'd give it five stars but my left boot was a bit snug

These are practical and rugged pull-on boots. Good to keep by the door when you need to head out quickly with the dog. I do wish they were a bit more stylishly designed. The rubber section is pretty clunky looking...

Well constructed. Love the zipper, which makes the boot ideal for errands and frequent dog walks. Length was fine but the boot runs narrow, so it was returned. I wear a size 10 in Bean's Comfort Moc shoes and boots; the same size in the Storm Chaser was too tight. Didn't want to go up a size because that makes it more clunky.

I do like these boots. They do run a little small a be narrow just like the short version so order half size up with regular socks. If you want to wear thick socks you might go up a full size. Also the ankles are a bit narrow/snug. The zipper does not always stay up depending on what you are doing. I can see the zipper failing down the road. These would be perfect if more roomy/flexible ankles and pull on style with no zippers. We'll see how long they hold up this wi tee for daily barn work.

This was what I was looking for. A ankle height rubber boot for slush and water with a zipper.

Once the boots are on my feet, they feel fine, but the width at the heel is narrow and not very flexible. This makes the boots very difficult to put on. Hopefully, once I have worn them for a season, they will be more flexible and easier to put on. I was looking for a side-zip, insulated snow boot and these are exactly what I wanted.

This boot is a nice option for Flagstaff AZ winter conditions which are not severe, but the boot's higher ankle coverage is needed on occasion. And having the pull-on & side zipper design works well for me. I'm a little disappointed in the extra space provided for the upper ankle -- wish it was a tighter fit to keep drafts out.

I loved the style and the fact that it was a pull-on boot with a zipper; however, I could not get my feet into the boot easily. The fit was good both in length and width but I had to return the boots, I had thought about trying a half size bigger but all were sold out.

Boot fits very nicely and comfortable to walk in. I haven't tested in extreme cold so the jury is out but I heard positive reviews. Easy on, easy off with no laces which is a +

I generally wear a size 10 1/2 or 11 shoe depending on the manufacturer. I found that a size 11 in this boot with a heavy sock was very tight. I exchanged the size 11 for a size 11 1/2 and that seemed to be just right with the heavy sock. Other than that I think this boot will serve me well this winter and many more to come. Very comfortable boot.

The boots seem well made and keep your feet warm. The left boot fits perfectly. The right foot is tight around the arch. Hope it relaxes with wear.

I was thinking whether to buy a boot with laces, or a zipper, and the model I was chose above was an excellent choice. I think it works better with thicker socks, but on the whole, I am happy with it and got to test it out recently when it rained extensively a week or so ago. I would highly recommend this boot, provided you can find having it a little tighter around your ankles better. Next time I have to use these boots, I will make sure I have a thicker pair of wool socks. That is my only negative about the boot. I hope you enjoy the boot as much as I do!

Thay could yous a little more padding in the soles for little more consonant for all day ware

will protect feet in snow (if it ever comes)

Not enough insulation built in these boots but are comfortable but not designed for ice fishing or standing on a cold cement floor for long periods of time. Otherwise these boots feel great and are light. Great zippered quality.
