We wanted a snow boot for my 84 year old husband. It had to grip, be warm, and light enough not to cause fatigue. The zippers are easy to manage. They fit without a break-in period. They are stylish enough, and comfortable enough to wear for hours of shopping. They do not look like clunky snow boots. I would have preferred they came in black.

They fit fine, but they arrived after our one measurable snow, so no informed opinion

this is a warm boot and good in the snow however this boot is not very good on the ice and this year in Alaska we have a lot of ice this year!

Keeps feet warm & dry. Listed to buying a half size up!

Bought last minute to go to Finland and go see the sights during Christmas holiday break. Plenty of room in the toe box area and very comfortable without any break in time. Nice and warm and kept my feet dry in the snow.

They are a good boot, they work for what is needed.

Snug, waterproof and no doubt durable, these boots nevertheless feel bulky and uncertain under foot; my sense is that my right foot wants to roll right. They're a bit clumpier than I'd hoped they'd be.

These are a good boot. Run a little small. I order a 1/2 size bigger, and they fit great. I thought with the zipper they would slide off and on. I have to give the boot a little pull to put on, but not much.

I take and order a 10.5. Little snug in the toes. I will be returning them for 1/2 size bigger. I feel they are a really good boot for what I need them.

Like the convience of pull on, but had to try several differ sizes to get good fit.

These are great boots. Very comfortable with good support and non slip sole. An improvement would be to move the pull tab from the back of the boot to the zipper side of the boot to make them easier to pull on.

I bought a pair of the Storm Chasers for my teenage son last year. He has to walk almost half a mile to and from the school bus so he ended up wearing these boots about every day to school. He is tough on shoes and these have held up quite well, looking almost new after two winters. I decided to get myself a pair. They only come in one width. I have a wide foot, but I thought the boots might have a little more play in them and that it wouldn't matter. I discovered I can only wear them for a short period of time, especially if I have to walk any distance because pressure points become painful. A wider or different-shaped foot box could make a difference.

I bought a pair of Storm Chaser boots in 2019. I have been pleased with the boots. Great for shoveling snow, keeps my feet reasonably warm with proper socks. The product description does say, do not submerse in water. I stepped in a small stream for about two seconds and water came into the boots at the zipper. Same thing happened when I stepped in a hole filled with snow and water. The boots are good for snow but stay out of any water puddles. If you want completely waterproof boots, get something else.

Wore for first time today as it snowed. Excellent grip and very comfortable

One boot will not zip to the top their is a stitch in the way. Otherwise the boots are perfect

Nice quality boot. Pretty easy to pull on and zip up.

I have two other pairs of LL Bean boots and love them. I wear a 12 medium in other LL Bean boots/shoes. I thought this would be an easy on / off winter boot, but it was far too wide. I ordered in two sizes, 11.5 and 12; I returned both pairs. Both sizes slipped on my foot even with thick socks. Overall construction looks nice. I would reorder if a narrower version was available.

So far, so good. A little bit of a challenge to get on but the zipper is very convenient, plenty warm for my purposes, and very well made. Recommend buyers treat the leather with waterproofing to soften and protect the leather. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Nice quality short boot. Unfortunately husband couldn't get his foot in them even with side zipper. Returned. Waiting for refund.

They arent sized according to my boot size.size runs 1 size small.but looked like a good boot.

I ordered my regular shoe size (10 1/2) and the boots fit perfectly. They are warm with regular socks. The boots are comfortable and stable to walk the dog, even in snow and ice. A bit tight with thicker winter socks.

My husband has worn them three times this winter. Still a little tight even though bought a size and a half bigger. Also should have a water sealing flap under the zipper to keep water from snow out. A reasonably good boot.

Well made, side zipper does not get stuck. Waterproof construction.

This is a nice-looking boot, easy to get on/off with the side zipper. I tried them on in the store with heavy socks, and still needed a half-size bigger than my usual shoe size. I've only worn them once, and the left boot was rubbing against the back of my foot, so I may have to wear an extra sock in that shoe for a more secure fit. Since I havn't yet worn them in snow, I can't comment on their wet-weather performance. They seem otherwise comfortable, but probably not ideal for long walks.

They worked well in snow, mud and water but on ice best to take it easy. This is a second pair of a similar style LL Bean boot and the right boot for both was a little larger than my normal 10.5 size.
