These boots have no break in period they are perfect right out of the box . I would definitely buy another pair after these wear out so try them your feet will know the deference

I've wearing off brand winter boots most all my life. I've finally purchased the LL Bean Storm Chaser boots w side zipper. They're very comfortable & must easier to get on.

Used these boots on a winter photo shoot in Yellowstone NP. Cold and lots of snow. Boots performed without a problem. I ordered my usual shoe size, which made it snug with a thicker warm sock but I was able to wiggle it on with an effort. I had room to enter below foot warming pads also (thin ones). Very satisfied.

I love the style and comfort of this boot, and especially like the side zip feature for easy on/off. My normal size 10 was about a half size too small.

Hard to get on

Very surprised. Nice boot. Lots of support in the foot which I was not suspecting in a rubber bottom boot.

I had previously purchased the regular shoe type of these for my boyfriend. At the time, I asked are you sure you don't want the taller ones because he hikes daily in all weather with his dogs. He said no. He loved the others and has worn them for two years. However this year he requested the taller version so that snow didn't get in. I got them for him and he absolutely loves them. Says they're fantastic.

I only buy Ll Bean boots for fowl weather. These boots are perfect for the wet snow, slush, found in Tidewater VA. Perfect fit, all day comfort, long lasting boot.

Great boot to keep by the door during winter to throw on and off. Good for driving also, not the oversized sole that most winter boots have, very comfortable too.

Super comfortable and easy to put on. Been in ankle deep water with no problems. Seems to run a little big but not so much that your foot slides. I like that if I decide to wear a thicker sock I can. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

MY HUSBAND HAD THE HIGHER, HEAVIER LL BEAN SNOW BOOT FROM LAST CHRISTMAS AND WORKED WONDERFULLY WHEN SNOW BLOWING OR WALKING THRU DEEP MOUNDS OF SNOW, HE WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEM; BUT THIS YEAR, HE WANTED A LIGHTER, SHORTER SNOW BOOT THAT WAS WATERPROOF AND EASY OFF AND ON. ONCE AGAIN, HE IS COMPLETELY HAPPY AND SATISFIED - LOVES THE LL BEAN QUALITY.

My husband liked these better than any other boots he has gotten in the past from you. Very satisfied.

My decades-old 'apres ski' pull-ons finally had to go. Apparently styles have shifted (ha!) so I decided to try something 'new'. With the side zipper, these Bean boots do the trick. They're easy enough to get on and off, comfortable to walk in, are waterproof and warm and provide good traction. I'm very pleased.

Returned the first pair I received as a gift. They were size 11; I usually take a 10 1/2 but the 11's were too narrow. Went to the RI store and tried on the 11 1/2. They were a little long but very comfortable and did not feel too loose. The salesperson, Greg, was very helpful. Love my new Storm Chasers. LLB - please offer more "wide" options! My husband wanted warm, comfortable boots that he could wear to work in messy weather and these are perfect. He definitely wanted easy-on instead of laces, and the zippers work perfectly for him. He works on a concrete floor all day and says these boots are warm and extremely comfortable for all day wear.

I have owned a pair of Bean Lace Up boots for many years and truly longed for a slip on w/side zipper. My wish came true with these boots. The look, fit and feel exceeded my expectations! I plan on buying a pair for my daughter in law for her birthday. My advice, if you like the look, buy em, because you're sure going to like the fit and feel!

I am thrilled with my purchase. It is very easy to put on with the zipper. Walking in it is very comfortable. It is warm yet not hot to wear. All in all I am really happy with the purchase!

Since I was 16 I have worn 10 medium shoes, no exceptions, ever, including other boots I bought from L.L. Bean. Naturally, when I ordered these boots, that was the size I ordered. They turned out to be too tight. I returned them for a refund and ordered a half size larger. They fit perfectly and comfortably. Great boots. Return was simple. Another fine L.L. product!

Very comfortable , warm, great traction. Wore them to the ski slopes my feet stayed very warm.

Nice boot. Very comfortable. Have worn them all day numerous times in nasty weather. The boot is warm and dry. Easy to slip on. Fits true to my shoe size. Great Buy. Would highly recommend.

I was looking for something light and quick to put on when I go outside with snow on the ground. Great fit and comfort. The tread is really grippy on snow and ice. The outside of the boot keeps my feet warm and dry.
