Needed a boot for the snow on my steep driveway with good grip so I wouldn't fall on my rear when shoveling snow etc. This baby fits the bill! Or should that be fits the foot ha ha!? It also seems sturdy and comfortable enough for longer hikes up snowy trials. Great value!

Excellent choice for Northwest weather; stay dry and warm, and the fit is great. Being older I really appreciate the easy on off of the zipper feature.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. The size 9 was snug, so we exchanged for a 91/2. I would recommend going up a half size for some men. They are warm and comfortable, he loves them. Great looking boots as well!

My husband LOVES these new boots. He has diabetes and his feet get very cold, but these boots keep his feet nice and cozy. He is also blind and the soles of these boots aren't slippery and are great in the snow and ice! Thanks

I love this boots, the comfort, the quality and look are perfect. It doesn't matter what type of weather there is, my feet are protected and comfortable. Amazing boots, I hope they last forever. If they don't, I will buy a new pair!

I loved look of boots. My issue was that I could not get foot into boots too narrow and my instep is too high. I returned once for larger size still could not get foot in boot

I would like to start by saying I ordered 1/2 size larger because I usually wear thicker/extra socks hunting. I chatted with an L.L. Bean representative about the fit and it was recommended to order your exact shoe size. From my experience, that would be correct. Even though my hunting land holds a lot of water, I haven't gone anywhere that these were not ok. They have shown no sign of leaking and the comfort is great. I may very likely order another pair in my exact size for times I don't want to wear thick/extra pair of socks. Also, they are not bulky and heavy like other boots similar to these.

Well made, warm, comfortable and most important, light weight. Don't feel like I'm hauling a ball and chain around.

Please get size 14 back in stock. Would like to buy another pair.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas, and he absolutely loves them! Tells me every time he wears them. Easy on and off, super comfortable, well-insulated, lightweight and they look fantastic!

These were just what I was looking for. The only negative was couldn't get the lighter brown color.

This boot was purchased as a gift for my husband. I'm always a bit hesitant buying footwear for him, for he has a difficult foot to fit. He loves them! First, the fit was just right, plus he loves the side zip. (His last pair was zipped from the front and never felt right.) He thought these were good looking as well as comfortable. He wears these every day, whether running errands or out feeding the wild life.

My Husband is in Landscaping and needed a pair of shoes that would be durable, comfortable, waterproof and easy to put on and off. His remark was that they feel as comfortable like sneakers, keep his feet warm but not hot and more importantly dry. He is very happy with them.

I chose these boots for the zipper. I have problems with my hands that do not allow me to easily lace shoes/boots. However, it is such a plus to get thinsulate, soles that don't slip, etc. Would buy again if needed.

I was looking for a warm, comfortable lightweight boot that would take good care of my feet for Michigan's cold, wet, sloppy winters. In the past, I've worn several brands of low-cut footwear, and although they kept my feet dry, and provided great traction, they fell very short on warmth. My new L.L. Bean Stormchaser Boots have been a welcome surprise so far. Not only are they providing great warmth, wearing them is like walking outside in moccasins...they're that comfortable. Yet, they provide excellent support like boots should, and my feet do not get tired in them. Entry and exit are easy with the side zippers and leather pull tabs. So far, it seems like the soles are providing excellent traction in snow and mud. I love 'em!

I purchased these because I wanted boots that would be easier to get in and off to go into town and run errands during winter in Vermont. I quickly found myself wearing them on short hikes as well. Very comfortable, with good support. and warmth.

Fit was spot on. I'm a 10M but I ordered the 10.5M since I expect to wear thicker socks and these are just right. Got them to slip on and off going in and out of the house to walk the dog, take out trash, go to the barn, etc. Easy on, easy off, with or without socks they are perfect! My only regret is, why didn't I get them sooner?

Great fit, great look, easy slip-on...have roamed in the woods, split logs all day, and gone to town in the rain...Perfect for all!

I got myself these boots and they are great. I got a size 11 but where a size 10.5. I wanted the half size bigger because I like thick socks. I probably could have gotten the 10.5 but I like the room to put on 2 socks if wanted. The boots keep my feet dry and warm. A week after I got them we had a snow storm and I was so happy with them. I have always loved the stuff I got from my mother from LL Bean. This was my first purchase myself and will not be my last.

It's hard to find boots that are comfortable and fit well. These fit great. I love that they are easy to get on and off. Very happy with the purchase

Recently moved back up North and purchased several products. All were extremely well made, warm and fit well. The Storm Chaser boots are warm, broke in easily and have extremely good traction in ice, snow mud and slush. Perfect boot for many conditions.

Husband very disappointed. Liked boots very much but too short, at least in the size 12 which always fits him.
