Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves the zip up feature. Very comfortable and a great everyday boot. I'd suggest a higher boot for deep snow which he has walked in with these boots. He found out that if he tucks in his pants snow gets in the boot.

I bought these for my husband in his regular size. He loves them. Said they are warm, comfy and waterproof.

Greatly constructed boot

It took a couple of goes, because the 9.5 I originally ordered were not right because my heel would not go in. The size 10 that LLBean replaced them with were a perfect fit. This is a very well made product that is sturdy, but not heavy on the feet. It keeps the feet warm and has good non-slip heels.

Thanks for replacing my boots......sent wrong color but that is ok, LL Bean replaced a pair of boots that failed from 2014. Customer service is great

Fit and quality are both what I have come to expect from L.L. Bean. Very comfortable fit, love the soft line thought out the boot. Padded top edge adds to the comfort. Also appreciate how easy to put on and remove. Based on the quality/price these are a very good value.

Bought these for my husband and his outdoor adventures. He loves that they are lightweight, comfortable and waterproof! He normally wears a 9 1/2 double E. After reading all the reviews I ordered up half size and they fit perfect. Great product for slogging through wet muddy, snowy trails.

Great winter boot, zipper makes on and off easy, nicely insulated, great grip, I usually take a size 12 1/2 but this does not come in a 12 1/2, 13 fit great with one layer of winter socks, no break in, good from day one shoveling the driveway and walking trails in the snow!

Most comfortable boot I have ever owned. Live in snow county and wear every day to go to work. Walk several miles with my dog as well. Great traction. Well insulated. Easy on and off. Have the previous model of this boot and this version is much improved.

I bought these as a gift for my adult son. He says he has worn them every day since he received them. He loves that he can put them on quickly and he also likes the zip feature. Score one for mom!

They are easy to put on and very comfortable. A warm boot that has been great in the snow, slush and mud.

I may have a special problem. My normal shoe size is 10-1/2 wide. Since these boots come in only medium width, I ordered size 11. That's good for my left foot, but it's still too narrow for my right. These are good boots especially for in-and-out wear around the house because they're convenient to put on and take off. This is my second pair. The previous pair were far from being worn out, except the interior lining at the heels was completely gone. Boots with removable/replaceable liners are better for serious outdoor wear, but these are very good for light to moderate duty.

These are very comfortable, warm and waterproof boots. They're made of quality leather and rubber. I wore them through several snow storms and they're still holding up perfectly. They're also very easy to put on with the zipper. I'm usually a 10.5 or 11. I bought the 10.5 and it fits perfectly. I'd say they are true to size. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I 100% recommend them.

I'm 74, I learned from my Father that when it comes to woods boots, don't buy any other than LL Bean. These new boots continue to prove my father's truth. Comfortable with perfect fit, best of its kind. Quick on/off Zipper makes one lazy unless you enjoy laces. Soles grip wet leaves and icy surfaces quite well, waterproof. 100% recommended.

As always, a great product from LL Bean. A warm boot. Easy on and off. Quality materials. Good fit. A great everyday winter boot.

Living in New England and dealing with a downhill-slanted driveway, I was constantly frustrated by slipping while shoveling snow. I needed something that gripped in the bad weather. While vacationing over the holiday, I stopped in the main store in Freeport, told a clerk what I needed my boots for, and he suggested these, which I subsequently purchased. Of course, upon making the purchase, I was sure that we would not get snowed on again this winter, but it finally did, and WOW! I love these boots!! Easy to put on (just a zipper), snug, secure, comfortable, and best of all, I can now shovel my driveway secure in the knowledge I won't slip and hurt myself. I actually look forward to shoveling snow again - that's how much I love these boots! Thank you, LL Bean, and to the young man who pointed them out to me!

I got the Storm Chaser boot in the zip up version. The older I get the harder it is to put on boots. I own mostly lace up LL Bean Hunting Shoes. The zip up version works far better to take on and off. These boots are genuine leather. They are durable and this is my second pair. I know foot gear as years ago my maternal Grandfather worked in the world's biggest shoe factory. These boots are made in Vietnam. They are a full size too small. I got the Oakwood Brown and would not want the grey color. I wear them for work and dress!

Purchased a replacement pair for LL Bean boots that had served me well for many years. The zippers are a good improvement for this latest model. Expecting years of satisfactory service.

Could not be happier. I live in rural coastal California at the 2000' level where winter storms dump tons of water and lower temperatures than most people think of our state. I need boots that allow me to do occasional work outside in mud and rain on the 3 acres where I live. These are perfect for me. They are warm (the insulation) and extremely comfortable- the insoles and very pliable construction. They stay dry inside no matter the water and mud I'm walking through. The lugs of the soles are terrific for traction in mud and dirt and don't hinder comfortable walking. The zipper closure is in the right place on the inside edge of the boots-they make removing them a lot easier when they are caked with mud. and help keep water and dirt out. The fit was on the money for me. I wear 9 1/2 medium width. I've recommended these to two friends with outdoor work requirements. Both purchased a pair and love them too.

My dad, who recently had a knee replacement, loves these boots. He likes that they zip up on the side, slip on easily, good grip but doesn't hold onto mud. Keep it up LL bean!
