Purchased these for my husband that's always searching for quality ,waterproof boots for walking our dogs on trails in the woods. These boots are not only good looking, they are the most comfortable he's ever had.. Only minor issue was they run a size smaller. Ordered 13 and had to exchange for 14.. Other then that they are near perfect. No complaints. Hopefully they will last several years..

This is the third purchase of the same type boot, the initial fit and performance is the same. However the previous two purchases began leaking within one year; they are still used during dry conditions.

This is a high quality boot made for easy on and off. I can quickly put them on and shovel some snow, never getting wet or cold.

I am thrilled that the men's size 7 works for my ladies size 7.5 feet (with thick socks). My 15 year old (womens) pair are still in excellent shape, but due to changes in my feet, I was forced to order a larger size...but now only available in men's. These are my barn boots, and hold up beautifully to mud, manure, water and freezing temps.

I bought these boots to go pheasant hunting in Kansas. I knew I'd be walking a lot, and through difficult terrain. But I was fearful that new boots would wear my feet out. What I found was the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. I'm wearing them right now in my work office because they are so comfortable!! Water proof, well insulated, side zipper gives easy access and closure. I'm sold!!!

nice boot construction but returned them because they were too narrow for my triple E foot and there was not a wider fit available. I ended up buying some Propet's in 3E.

Hello With all of the newness and trendiness of the retail word it is very satisfying to stick with a classic style and a modern fit. I was looking for old school ll bean boot with slip on ankle height and insulated. Boom! ll bean hit a home run. I am thinking about getting a second pair "just is case" it is discontinued as some of the oldies but goodies have in the past. I am confident that this one will be a classic in time. But just in case..... I went for a 3 mile walk with dogs without socks and was comfortable and warm the entire way. Ahhhhhh

Love the boots. Had two pair of the low tops and wore both out. These are excellent for working in damp areas no splash to inside of boots Easy to put on and very comfortable. Zipper area has a flap on the inside also

real good Quality not really warm enough in the cold and were a little to big have to wear 2 pair of socks and feet still got cold.

I continue to be impressed by the quality of LL Bean. This boot is excellent and I highly recommend.

I wear a 9 in running shoes. Bought the 9.5 in this boot. Fits perfectly. It is also very comfortable to walk/work in. Recommend changing inserts.

Product returned due to poor fit. I normally wear a WIDE size and I tried to make a NORMAL width work. Boot would have been perfect if correct fit. I ordered the lace version in the correct size.

LL Bean's availability model for these boots is frustrating. I had to check the site multiple times a day to find my size in stock. Sizes and colors seemed to appear at random, and it took nearly a week of checking several times daily before I was able to order the pair I wanted. As for the boots themselves, I'm generally pleased with the construction and traction. That said, I removed one star for fit. They run narrow. I have a wider foot, but I ordered my usual size as recommended and can only wear thin dress socks comfortably. Standard winter wool socks are too tight. I was also surprised there is no exterior zipper flap. At $150, I would expect that feature. It would help keep snow out of the zipper and prevent it from sliding down, which has happened in deeper snow. Overall, I like the boots, but at this price point I expected a bit more in terms of fit and design details.

I am glad to have these boots since we have had a lot of snow. The treads are great for walking in the snow. They fit well but the tags inside the boots are rough and dug into my leg.

My regular size was too small (couldn't even get my foot in the boot). Had to order a half size larger and wear a thinner sock because the toe box was too tight. (I wanted to order a full size larger but it wasn't available.)

Like everything except the grab loops, they are too small to be useful.

The upper is not as flexible as the LL Bean boots that these replaced, which are not offered in a side zipper boot anymore. They will be OK just not as comfortable as the old style

These boots look sick. Definitely winter boots. Stop wearing doc martens, they are not winter boots.

Love the boots. They are very comfortable, more than I thought they would be, they are warm, warmer than I thought they would be, and I have no issues taking there out in the winter weather.
